Great Ocean Road
The Great Ocean Road is an Australian National Heritage listed 243-kilometre stretch of road along the south-eastern coast of Australia between the Victorian cities of Torquay and Warrnambool. The road was built by returned soldiers between 1919 and 1932, and is the world's largest war memorial; dedicated to casualties of World War I.
Great Otway National Park
The Great Otway National Park is a national park in Victoria, 162 km southwest of Melbourne. It contains a diverse range of landscapes and vegetation types.
Valentich disappearance
The Valentich disappearance refers to the unexplained disappearance at around 7:12 pm on 21 October 1978 of 20-year-old Frederick Valentich while piloting a Cessna 182L light aircraft over Bass Strait in Australia. He intended to land at King Island and return to Moorabbin Airport. During the 127-mile (235 km) flight, Valentich advised Melbourne air traffic control that he was being accompanied by an aircraft about 1,000 feet above him.
Apollo Bay
Apollo Bay is a coastal town in southwestern Victoria, Australia. It is situated on the eastern side of Cape Otway, along the edge of the Barham River and on the Great Ocean Road, in the Colac Otway Shire. The town had a population of 1,095 at the 2011 Australian census. It is now a tourist destination, though it is smaller and quieter than other nearby places such as Lorne. It is also host to the annual Apollo Bay Music Festival and the Great Ocean Sports Festival.
Hopetoun Falls
Hopetoun Falls is located five kilometres south of Beech Forest, Victoria, Australia. Much attention has been given to preserving the natural characteristics of Hopetoun Falls while allowing ample access for visitors. The falls have a large set of well-built and maintained stairs that lead down a natural patio to a viewing platform very close to the foot of the waterfall. Hopetoun Falls plunges 30 m in a rectangular shape. Many visitors come every year to look at its natural beauty.

Cape Otway is a cape and a bounded locality of the Colac Otway Shire in southern Victoria, Australia on the Great Ocean Road; much of the area is enclosed in the Great Otway National Park.

Beech Forest, Victoria
Beech Forest is a town in Victoria, Australia. The area of Beech Forest is largely used for potato farming. The town was named after the many myrtle beech trees of the area. Beech Forest Post Office opened on 10 May 1890 and closed in 1994. The town had a railway station on the Crowes railway line from 1902 until 1962. Much of the route of the old railway has been converted to the Old Beechy Rail Trail, via which cyclists and walkers can travel 45km between Beech Forest and Colac.

The Kennett River is a river in southwestern Victoria, Australia. It arises in the Otway Ranges and enters Bass Strait to the east of Cape Otway through the locality of the same name. It was named by surveyor George Smythe after the River Kennet in Berkshire, England.

The Shire of Otway was a local government area about 190 kilometres southwest of Melbourne, the state capital of Victoria, Australia. The shire covered an area of 1,906.94 square kilometres, and existed from 1919 until 1994.
Beech Forest railway station
Beech Forest railway station is a closed and demolished railway station in the town of Beech Forest on the former Crowes railway line. There is currently a park and toilets at the station site. Remains of the station can be seen in the cutting for the former loop at the Down end of the yard which surrounds the disused tennis court and the two Departmental Residences which are still standing and occupied.

Triplet Falls
Triplet Falls are waterfalls located in the Great Otway National Park, Victoria, Australia. The Falls are fed by the Young Creek and as the name suggests there are three falls that cascade over a lush rainforest to the floor of the valley. The three streams normally flow when there has been significant rain upstream, so it's not uncommon to see only one or two streams flowing.
Calder River (Victoria)
The Calder River is a river in southwestern Victoria, Australia. It arises in the Port Campbell National Park in the Otway Ranges on the western side of Cape Otway and joins the Aire River shortly before it enters Bass Strait, via Lake Costin and Lake Craven. It was named by the surveyor George Smythe after the River Calder in Yorkshire, England, similarly a tributary of the River Aire.

The Geary River is a short river in southwestern Victoria, Australia. It lies wholly within Port Campbell National Park in the Otway Ranges and enters Bass Strait to the east of Cape Otway.
Elliott River
The Elliott is a short river in southwestern Victoria, Australia. It lies wholly within Port Campbell National Park in the Otway Ranges and enters Bass Strait to the east of Cape Otway.
Barham River
The Barham River is a river in southwestern Victoria, Australia. It arises in the Otway Ranges and enters Bass Strait at Apollo Bay. Named by surveyor George Smythe, its name is supposed to be from an Aboriginal word Burrum meaning stony river bed.
Grey River (Victoria)
The Grey River is a river in southwestern Victoria, Australia. It arises in the Otway Ranges and enters Bass Strait to the east of Cape Otway.
Banool railway station
Banool was a stopping place and railway station located on the now dismantled Victorian Railways Colac to Beech Forest narrow gauge line. Today all that remains is the original Railway Station signage. A portion of the original railway reservation is now a rail trail and visitors to the Great Otway National Park are now able to cycle along the path. The best and most original section of the line is between Gellibrand and Banool.

Maits Rest is an 800 metre self-guided circuit walk through cool temperate rainforest in the Otway Ranges near Apollo Bay in Victoria (Australia). It is part of the Great Otway National Park.
