Division of Murray
The Division of Murray is an Australian Electoral Division in the state of Victoria. It is located in the north of the state, adjoining the Murray River, which forms Victoria's border with New South Wales. It includes the towns of Shepparton, Echuca, Cobram, Yarrawonga, Boort and Bridgewater. The Division was proclaimed at the redistribution of 11 May 1949, and was first contested at the 1949 election.

At the 2006 census, Bawmawm and the surrounding area had a population of 475. Bamawm shares an Australian rules football team with nearby Lockington—the Lockington Bamawm United Cats—competing in the Heathcote District Football League.
