Seaside Heights is a borough in Ocean County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the borough's population was 2,887, reflecting a decline of 268 (-8.5%) from the 3,155 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 789 (+33.3%) from the 2,366 counted in the 1990 Census. Seaside Heights is situated on the Barnegat Peninsula, a long, narrow barrier peninsula that separates Barnegat Bay from the Atlantic Ocean.

Casino Pier
Casino Pier is an amusement park situated on a pier, in Seaside Heights, New Jersey, United States. Casino Pier was partially destroyed, and indefinitely closed, on October 29, 2012, after part of the pier collapsed into the Atlantic Ocean due to the extreme natural forces generated by Hurricane Sandy. Park management has announced plans to rebuild and reopen.

WNJO (90.3 FM) is a radio station licensed to Toms River, New Jersey, with the transmitter located on the Barnegat Peninsula south of Seaside Park. The station is owned by New York Public Radio (WNYC), and is an affiliate of their New Jersey Public Radio network. WNYC assumed control of the stations that make up NJPR under a management agreement on July 1, 2011. Previously, WNJO had been part of New Jersey Network's radio service.

Coast Guard Station Toms River
Coast Guard Station Toms River is a United States Coast Guard station located in Seaside Park, New Jersey at the mouth of the Toms River. The area was manned in 1856 with Samuel Chadwick as the first lifeguard. The first boathouse was constructed in 1872 by the New Jersey Life Saving Service as the Toms River Life Saving Station. Station Toms River was United States Life-Saving Service Station #13 and Coast Guard's Station #109 in the 5th District.
