Baw Baw National Park
Baw Baw is a national park in Victoria, Australia, 111 km east of Melbourne. It contains the Baw-Baw Plateau and Mount Baw Baw, a small ski resort, including nearby town, technically outside the national park. Geographically, Baw-Baw plateau is a plateau of several peaks (Mount Baw Baw, Mount St Gwinear, Mount St Phillack, Mount Erica and Mount Whitelaw) of largely subalpine terrane outcrops of weathered granite boulders dot the plateau with alpine meadows punctuated by stands of snow-gum.

The Shire of Baw Baw is a local government area in Victoria, Australia. It is about 100 km east of Melbourne in the West Gippsland region. It has an area of 4,031 square kilometres, and in 2011 had a population of 42,985. Baw Baw was formed in 1994 from the amalgamation of the former Buln Buln and Narracan shires, the Rural City of Warragul (previously the Shire of Warragul), and some parts of the Shire of Upper Yarra.

Tanjil Bren is a town in Victoria, Australia, located on Mount Baw Baw Tourist Road, 12 kilometres west of Mount Baw Baw in the Shire of Baw Baw. It was established during the Victorian Gold Rush. The town features a small store which sells snacks and is only open during the ski season. Four accommodation lodges, Mooshead, Reindeer, Jenny's and Timbertop Lodge, are located in Tanjil Bren. At the 2006 census, Tanjil Bren and the surrounding area had a population of 110.
Fumina South, Victoria
Fumina South is a town in Victoria, Australia. Located on Willowgrove Road, in the Shire of Baw Baw, it is an isolated pocket near the foothills of Mount Baw Baw. Fumina South has a population of approximately 50 people, mostly weekend farmers and retirees, although it was once a bustling community with its own post office and school. The Post Office opened in 1907 as Duggan, was renamed Fumina South in 1925 and closed in 1962.

Erica, Victoria
Erica is a town in Victoria, Australia, located on Rawson Road, in the Shire of Baw Baw. The area was generally known as Upper Moondarra in the early 1900s, the township of Erica beginning to grow after construction of the railway line from Moe to Walhalla, which passed through the area. When the station opened in 1910 it was named Harris, but had been renamed Erica after a nearby mountain by 1914.
Western Tyers, Victoria
Western Tyers was a small town in the Gippsland region of eastern Victoria, founded as a timber community in the late 19th century and at its peak home to around 500 residents. Whilst only one original house still stands it once possessed a school, post office and public hall. Until 1969 it was a functioning community but with the closure of the timber mill all the remaining residents left. The town site was bought privately in 1970 as freehold.
