Altavista is an incorporated town in Campbell County, Virginia, United States. The population was 3,450 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Lynchburg Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Renan, Virginia
Renan is an unincorporated community in the northeastern part of Pittsylvania County, Virginia, United States. It is included in the Danville, Virginia Metropolitan Statistical Area. Leesville Lake is a reservoir in Virginia, the United States used for Hydro-Electric power generation in conjunction with Smith Mountain Lake as a pump storage project. The smaller and lower of the two lakes, Leesville Lake, covers 3,270 acres (13 km²) and contains 94,900 acre feet of water at full pond. It is located southeast of Roanoke, Virginia, and southwest of Lynchburg, Virginia.

WRVL is a Religious formatted broadcast radio station licensed to Lynchburg, Virginia, serving the New River Valley. WRVL is owned and operated by Liberty University. In 2009 WRVL broke ground by forming a partnership with NPR broadcaster WVTF in Roanoke, Virginia, allowing them to repeat Victory FM programming on WVTW's HD-3 channel in Charlottesville, Virginia.
