Zurich Airport
Zurich Airport, also known as Kloten Airport, is Switzerland's largest international airport, and the principal hub of Swiss International Air Lines. The airport is owned by Flughafen Zürich AG, a company quoted on the SIX Swiss Exchange. Major shareholders include the canton of Zurich, with 33.33% of the shares, and the city of Zurich, with 5% of the shares. No other shareholder has a holding exceeding 5%. Skyguide is responsible for all Air Traffic Control for Zurich.
Bubenholz Tunnel
The Bubenholz Tunnel is a motorway tunnel in Switzerland, and forms part of the A51 motorway around Zurich Airport. The tunnel is around 600 metres long. The tunnel replaces several overpasses which existed until the early 2000s. It is also supposed to cut noise from the motorway away from the nearby towns of Glattbrugg and Opfikon. As of 2004, the tunnel is only partially complete and only portions of the tunnel are open to traffic.
Thur (Switzerland)
Thur is a 131 km long river in north-eastern Switzerland. Its source is near the mountain Säntis in the south-east of the canton of St. Gallen. In this canton it flows through the Toggenburg region and the town Wil. After Wil it flows through the canton of Thurgau and its capital Frauenfeld. The final 19 km of the river Thur are in the canton of Zürich. It flows into the river Rhine on the border with Germany, south of Schaffhausen.
Crossair Flight 3597
Crossair Flight LX 3597 was an Avro RJ100 regional airliner, registration HB-IXM, on a scheduled flight from Berlin, Germany to Zurich, Switzerland that crashed during its approach to land at Zurich Airport on 24 November 2001. Twenty-four of the 33 people on board were killed.
Kolping Arena
The Kolping Arena is an arena in Zurich, Switzerland. It is primarily used for ice hockey and is the home arena of the Kloten Flyers. In 2008 the Eishalle Schluefweg was renamed Kolping Arena due to a sponsoring deal. It will now keep that name for seven years. The Kolping Arena holds 7,561 people and was built in 1997. In 2004, the arena played host to the finals of the 2004 Men's World Floorball Championships. and in 2009 it was one of the hosts of the IIHF World Championships
Irchel
Irchel is also the name of a hill in the city of Zürich, and of a campus of Zürich University located there. The Irchel is an elevation in the Canton of Zürich, located at the Rhine between the Töss and Thur rivers, on the territory of Buch am Irchel, Berg am Irchel and Freienstein-Teufen, separating the Andelfingen and Bülach districts. It is an outlying ridge of the Jura, rising to 694 m, lying east of the Lägern. Historically, it was part of the Germanic Limes.

Neuburg (Winterthur)
Neuburg is a quarter in the district 6 of Winterthur. It was formerly a part of Wülflingen municipality, which was incorporated into Winterthur in 1922. The name of the quarter comes from a former castle called "Neuburg" (engl. "newcastle") on a hill above the little village. Since the 16th century the name "Neuburg" isnt in use anymore for the place where the castle was, its called nowadays "Hoh-Wülflingen". From the former castle you only see the moats and a little part of the wall left.

Zurich Airport railway station (German: Bahnhof Zürich Flughafen) is a railway station serving Zurich Airport in Switzerland. The station is located underneath the main passenger terminal of the airport, which is in the canton of Zurich and the municipality of Kloten. Originally the station was planned to be served only by intercity trains, but it is now served by a mixture of long distance trains, serving cities throughout Switzerland, as well as Zurich S-Bahn trains on lines S 2 and S 16 .

The station is served by S-Bahn line S5, and by Zurich tram routes 10 and 12, operating on behalf of the Stadtbahn Glattal. Glattbrugg station is some 250 metres walk from Opfikon station on S-Bahn line S7.

Bülach railway station
Bülach is a railway station in the Swiss canton of Zurich and municipality of Bülach. It is located on the Winterthur to Koblenz line, at the point where it is joined by the Bülach branch of the Bülach-Regensberg Railway. Bülach station is served by Zurich S-Bahn lines S5, S22 and S41, as well as some long distance trains. The S5 connects Zurich and Rafz, using the Bülach-Regensberg Railway south of Bülach.

Glattfelden railway station
Glattfelden is a railway station in the Swiss canton of Zurich. The station is actually situated in the municipality of Bülach but takes its name from the immediately adjacent municipality of Glattfelden. It is located on the Winterthur to Koblenz line, and is served by Zurich S-Bahn lines S5 (to Pfäffikon SZ) and Rafz and S22 (to Singen and Bülach). A local bus line (ZVV 540) connects the station with the village.

Rafz is a railway station in the Swiss canton of Zurich and municipality of Rafz. The station is located on the Eglisau to Neuhausen line of the Swiss Federal Railway (SBB) that crosses the international border twice on its route between the Swiss cantons of Zurich and Schaffhausen. The station is operated by the SBB and is the terminus of Zurich S-Bahn line S5 from Zurich, and an intermediate stop on the S22 between Bülach and Schaffhausen.
Hüntwangen-Wil railway station
Hüntwangen-Wil is a railway station in the Swiss canton of Zurich. The station location straddles the municipalities of Eglisau and Hüntwangen, but takes its name from Hüntwangen and the adjoining municipality of Wil. In terms of railway geography, the station is on the Eglisau to Neuhausen line of the Swiss Federal Railway (SBB), which crosses the international border twice on its route between the Swiss cantons of Zurich and Schaffhausen.
Eglisau railway bridge
The Eglisau railway bridge, or Eisenbahnbrücke Eglisau, is a single-track railway bridge which carries the Eglisau to Neuhausen line across the Rhine in Switzerland. Both ends of the bridge lie within the municipality of Eglisau and the canton of Zurich. The bridge was built between the years of 1895 and 1897 by the Swiss Northeastern Railway at a cost of 980,000 Swiss francs. The bridge has a total length of 439 metres and has a height of 50 metres above river level.
Kloten railway station
Kloten is a railway station in the Swiss canton of Zurich and municipality of Kloten. The station is located on the Zurich to Winterthur line and is an intermediate stop on Zurich S-Bahn line S7. Although the station is situated only 1.5 kilometres from the main terminal of Zurich Airport, it has been bypassed by the opening, in 1980, of a new line directly serving the Zurich Airport railway station in the basement of that terminal.

The station is located on the Zürich–Winterthur railway line and is an interchange point between the Zurich S-Bahn and the Stadtbahn Glattal light rail system.
