Manoir de Ban
Le Manoir de Ban is an estate located on Lake Geneva near Corsier-sur-Vevey, Switzerland and famous for being the final home of Charlie Chaplin. Built in 1840 by the architect Philippe Franel for Charles Emile Henri Scherer, the property is of neoclassical style and contains 24 rooms. The surrounding grounds make up 14 hectares. In 1953, Charlie Chaplin moved into Manoir de Ban where he lived with his wife Oona and their eight children until his death in 1977.
