Laténium
The Laténium is an archeology museum located in Hauterive, a suburb of Neuchâtel. Its name refers to the La Tène culture. The Laténium is composed of a 2 500 m² parc, and a museum building which also harbours the archaeological section of the University of Neuchâtel. The parc features dolmens and erratic stones, reconstitutions of prehistoric and antique devices (a La Tène house, a gallo-roman ship and a Celtic bridge, notably), and modern works of art.

The Lords of Valangin with support from the Bishop of Basel rebelled against the Count of Neuchâtel. The battle was fought in the Val-de-Ruz, next to the village of Coffrane. The Count of Neuchâtel, Rollin, won the battle.

Erlach Abbey, also known as St. Johannsen Abbey (Kloster Erlach, otherwise Abtei St. Johannsen), was a Benedictine monastery in Gals, Canton of Bern, Switzerland. It was founded between 1093 and 1103 by Kuno, Count of Fenis and Bishop of Lausanne, on an island in the Zihl. the foundation was completed after his death by his brother, Burchard, bishop of Basle. The new monastery was settled by monks from St. Blaise's Abbey in the Black Forest.
