Shepparton
Shepparton is a city located on the floodplain of the Goulburn River in the north east of Victoria, Australia, approximately 181 kilometres north-east of Melbourne. According to the 2006 Census, the population of the locality was 27,707, while the population of the entire Shepparton-Mooroopna urban centre was 38,773. It began as a sheep station and river crossing before undergoing a major transformation as a railway town.
City of Greater Shepparton
The City of Greater Shepparton is a local government area in Victoria, Australia in the north of the state. It has an area of 2,420 square kilometres, and in 2001 it had a population of 56,000. It was formed in 1994 from the merger of the City of Shepparton, Shire of Shepparton, and parts of the Shire of Rodney, Shire of Euroa, Shire of Goulburn, Shire of Tungamah, Shire of Violet Town and Shire of Waranga.
Mooroopna
Mooroopna is a rural town located 181 kilometres north of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It is on the banks of the Goulburn River opposite the larger town of Shepparton. The Midland Highway crosses the river between the two towns. At the 2006 census, Mooroopna had a population of 7,203.

The Goulburn Valley is a region of Victoria, Australia. The region consists of those areas in the catchment of the Goulburn River and other nearby streams, and is part of the Murray-Darling Basin. The Goulburn Valley is bordered on the south by the Great Dividing Range and to the north by the Murray River, the state border with New South Wales. The region is one of Australia's most productive and intensively farmed areas and is predominantly irrigated.
Mooroopna railway station
Mooroopna is a railway station on the Goulburn Valley railway in the town of Mooroopna, Victoria, Australia. The station is served by V/Line passenger trains on the Shepparton Line, as well as by container freight services. The station opened at the same time as the railway from Mangalore to Shepparton on 13 January 1880. A former Victorian Railways way and works campsite is located to the south of the station.

Shepparton is a railway station in the city of Shepparton, Victoria, Australia. Located on the Goulburn Valley railway, the station is the terminus of V/Line Shepparton Line passenger services. The station is located in Purcell Street, and has a passenger platform on the east side of the line, and a goods platform on the west side, in addition to a 725 metre long crossing loop.

The station opened as a junction at the same time as the railway from Mangalore to Shepparton on 13 January 1880, with the line to Tatura opening on the same day. The last passenger service to the station from Echuca ran on 2 March 1981 with Y class diesel locomotive Y161 an ABE carriage and a C van.

Grahamvale is a small town in Victoria, Australia that encompasses the outer-most eastern regions of the city of Shepparton. At the 2006 census, Grahamvale had a population of 425. The region includes a mix of industrial, grazing and orchard land as well as several highly sought after housing estates. The most notable of these estates is Dobson Estate which comprises approximately 200 residences spread over approximately 300 acres (121 hectares or 4056 sq. metres).
Congupna railway station
Congupna is a closed railway station on the Goulburn Valley railway in the township of Congupna, just north of Shepparton, Victoria, Australia. The station opened as Congupna Road at the same time as the railway from Shepparton to Numurkah on 1 September 1881 being renamed to Congupna in February 1968. The platform was on the west side of the line, with the dirt mound remaining today.

Tallygaroopna is a closed railway station on the Goulburn Valley railway in the township of Tallygaroopna, Victoria, Australia. The station opened at the same time as the railway from Shepparton to Numurkah on 1 September 1881. The siding to the grain silos was lifted at an unknown date.

Lemnos, Victoria

It was named by Ernest Hill a returned soldier after the Greek island of Lemnos where Allied soldiers stopped on their way to Gallipoli.
