Durham is a city in the U.S. state of North Carolina. It is the county seat of Durham County, though portions also extend into Wake County in the east and Orange County in the west. It is the fourth-largest city in the state, and the 85th-largest in the United States by population, with 233,252 residents as of the 2011 United States census.
American Tobacco Trail
The American Tobacco Trail (ATT) is a 20-mile long Rails-to-Trails project located in the Research Triangle region of North Carolina, running along an abandoned railroad bed originally built for the American Tobacco Company in the 1970s. The route crosses through the City of Durham, Durham County, Chatham County, and Wake County. The ATT is part of the East Coast Greenway and is open to pedestrians, cyclists, equestrians (in non-urban sections) and other non-motorized users.

Carpenter, North Carolina
Carpenter is a small community located in western Wake County, North Carolina. Green Hope High School is a school in Cary, North Carolina, serving grades 9-12. In 2006, approximately 2,144 students attended according to the WCPSS page, and with a 95% graduation rate, about 530 seniors graduated. The school consistently has large amounts of students that attend universities like NC State, Duke, and UNC Chapel Hill as well as Ivy League schools. Charles E. Jordan High School
Charles E. Jordan High School (generally referred to as Jordan) is located in Durham, North Carolina, United States. It is one of seven high schools in Durham Public Schools. It is located on Garrett Road near Hope Valley Road in southwest Durham. The school mascot is the falcon. Jordan students come from many area middle schools such as Shepard, Sherwood Githens, Lowe's Grove, Immaculata, and Rogers-Herr. Jordan had an enrollment of approximately 2014 students as of 2010.
RTI International
RTI International (formerly Research Triangle Institute) is a nonprofit organization, headquartered in the Research Triangle Park in North Carolina, that provides research and technical services. It was founded in 1958 by local businesses and the three North Carolina universities that form the Research Triangle region, with $500,000 in funding. RTI started with departments for research in isotopes, operational sciences and statistics.
Mount Zion Christian Academy
