Bern
The city of Bern or Berne is the Bundesstadt of Switzerland, and, with (as of December 2011) a population of 125,681, the fifth most populous city in Switzerland. The Bern agglomeration, which includes 43 municipalities, has a population of 353,300. The metropolitan area had a population of 660,000 in 2000. Bern is also the capital of the Canton of Bern, the second most populous of Switzerland's cantons.
Bern railway station
Bern railway station serves the municipality of Bern, the capital city of Switzerland. Opened progressively between 1858 and 1860, and rebuilt several times since then, it forms part of the the Olten–Lausanne line (known as the Mittellandlinie in German) and is near the end of the Lötschberg line. The station is owned by the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB-CFF-FFS).

World Trade Institute

Felsenau power plant
The Felsenau power plant is a hydroelectric power plant located on the river Aar in Bern, Switzerland. It was built in 1909 by the city's utility company, Energie Wasser Bern. After a 1989 modernisation, the turbine hall is now used as a museum. The plant's current power output is 11.5 megawatts. The main building was designed by Eduard Locher and Alfred Brunschwyler in a then-popular historicising style as a "palace of technology". The 1989 expansion is by Vladimir Grossen and Bea Baumann.

Stadion Neufeld
Stadion Neufeld is a multi-use stadium in Berne, Switzerland. It is the home ground of FC Bern and the junior team of BSC Young Boys. The capacity of the stadium is 14,000 spectators, including 3000 seats. BSC Young Boys used the stadium from 2001/02 to 2004/05, during the construction of Stade de Suisse. It would also host the 1954 European Championships in Athletics.

The Aarbergergasse is one of the streets in the Old City of Bern, the medieval city center of Bern, Switzerland. It was originally the most important of the five streets that were part of the Äussere Neustadt, which was the section outside the city walls. One fountain, the Ryfflibrunnen on the Aarbergergasse is listed on the Swiss inventory of heritage site of national significance and it is part of the UNESCO Cultural World Heritage Site that encompasses the Old City.

The Spitalgasse is one of the streets in the Old City of Bern, the medieval city center of Bern, Switzerland. It is part of the Äussere Neustadt which was built during the third expansion from 1344 to 1346. The eastern end is at Waisenhausplatz and Bärenplatz while the western end is at Bahnhofplatz near the Church of the Holy Ghost. It is part of the UNESCO Cultural World Heritage Site that encompasses the Old City.
Pfeiferbrunnen
The Pfeiferbrunnen is a fountain near Spitalgasse 21 in Bern, Switzerland. It is one of the Old City of Bern's 16th Century fountains and is part of the list of Swiss heritage sites of national significance. The Pfeiferbrunnen was built in 1545/46 by the Swiss Renaissance sculptor Hans Gieng, based on the 1514 Albrecht Dürer woodcut of the Bagpiper. Originally, it stood in front of the Gasthaus (hotel and restaurant) zum Kreuz, which was a hotel for traveling minstrels.
Zeughausgasse
The Zeughausgasse is one of the streets in the Old City of Bern, the medieval city center of Bern, Switzerland. It is part of the Innere Neustadt which was built during the second expansion in 1255 to 1260. The eastern end is at Kornhausplatz while the western end is at Waisenhausplatz. It is part of the UNESCO Cultural World Heritage Site that encompasses the Old City.
Äussere Neustadt (Bern)
The Äussere Neustadt is a historic section in the Old City of Bern in Bern, Switzerland. For almost a century the Käfigturm remained the western boundary of Bern. However, as the city grew, people began settling outside the city walls. In 1344 the city started to build a third wall to protect the growing population. By 1346 the project was finished and six new streets were protected by a wall and the Christoffelturm .

The Bahnhofplatz (Train Station Plaza) is a plaza in the Old City of Bern, the medieval city center of Bern, Switzerland. It was built following the destruction of the Christoffelturm which had been part of the third city wall. It is located north of Bubenbergplatz and surrounds the Heiliggeistkirche and Bern's central train station. It is part of the UNESCO Cultural World Heritage Site that encompasses the Old City.
Waisenhausplatz
The Waisenhausplatzis a plaza in the Old City of Bern, the medieval city center of Bern, Switzerland. It is on the edge of the Innere Neustadt which was built during the second expansion from 1255 to 1260, though the plaza wasn't built until later. It is on the north of the peninsula, and divided from Bärenplatz by Marktgasse. It is part of the UNESCO Cultural World Heritage Site that encompasses the Old City.
Reichenbach Castle
Reichenbach castle (Schloss Reichenbach) is located in Zollikofen, about 5 kilometres north of Bern. The castle was founded as a medieval fort, probably built on the site of an earlier Roman fort, on the river Aar. The medieval castle was later rebuilt in the Baroque style. It is a Swiss heritage site of national significance.

Museum of Fine Arts Berne
The Museum of Fine Arts Berne, established in 1879, is the oldest art museum in Switzerland with a permanent collection. Its holdings run from the Middle Ages to contemporary art. It houses works by Paul Klee, Pablo Picasso, Ferdinand Hodler, Meret Oppenheim or Ricco Wassmer. The collection consists of over 3,000 paintings and sculptures as well as 48,000 drawings, prints, photographs, videos and films.
Lorraine railway viaduct
The Lorraine railway viaduct, or Lorraineviadukt, is a railway viaduct in the Swiss city of Bern. It carries the Olten to Lausanne railway line across the River Aar immediately to the north of Bern railway station. The Lorraine road bridge is adjacent. The bridge was built in concrete by the Swiss Federal Railways to replace the aging Rote Brücke and opened in 1941. It is 1,092 metres in length and was the longest four-track railway viaduct in Europe at the time of construction.

The Neubrügg or Neubrücke (English: New Bridge) is a covered wooden bridge over the Aare river between the municipalities of Kirchlindach and Bern in the canton of Bern in Switzerland. It is a Swiss heritage site of national significance.
