Vizcaya Bridge
The Vizcaya Bridge (Bizkaiko Zubia in Basque, Puente de Vizcaya in Spanish), is a transporter bridge that links the towns of Portugalete and Las Arenas in the Biscay province of Spain, crossing the mouth of the Nervion River. People in the area, and even the official website, commonly call it the Puente Colgante (literally "hanging bridge", used for suspension bridge in Spanish), although its structure is quite different from a suspension bridge.
Estuary of Bilbao
The Estuary of Bilbao lies at the common mouth of the rivers Nervion, Ibaizabal and Cadagua, that drain most of Biscay and part of Alava in the Basque Country, Spain. It is a large estuary 16 km long that extends from Bilbao to the Bilbao Abra bay, a widening that makes the final transition between river and sea.
Las Arenas
Las Arenas (Areeta in Basque) is a neighbourhood of Getxo. It is an affluent residential area that was built over the sands of a beach where the Gobela Creek died into a diffuse delta at the mouth of the Estuary of Bilbao in the early 20th Century. It is connected to Portugalete at the other side of the firth by the Puente Colgante and offers a marina, a small beach that can unfortunately be polluted, and a monument to Evaristo Churruca, who planned and directed the canalization of the estuary.
Punta Galea
Punta Galea is a cape in Biscay, Basque Country, that stands in the limit of Getxo and Sopelana. Together with Punta Lucero delimits the area of the Abra bay and the Estuary of Bilbao. Punta Galea was also a pop group from Getxo.
Neguri
Neguri is an affluent district of Getxo, in Biscay, Basque Country. It is traditionally regarded as the residence of the prosperous Basque industrial bourgeoisie. Its name, coined in the 19th century, means Winter Town in Basque language. The neighbourhood is serviced by two Bilbao Metro line 1 stations, Neguri and Aiboa.
Port of Bilbao
The Port of Bilbao is located on the Bilbao Abra bay, and along the Estuary of Bilbao, in Biscay. The main facilities are in the Santurtzi and Zierbena municipalities, approximately 15 km (9.3 mi) west of Bilbao. Also called Exterior Port and Superpuerto, the port complex occupies 3.13 km² (773 acres) of land and 16.94 km² (4,186 acres) of water along 17 km (10.5 mi) of waterfront.

Kabiezes will be a future station of Metro Bilbao. It will be the north-western terminus of the Line 2 and it is already in construction. The station will be located in the neighborhood of Kabiezes, in the municipality of Santurtzi, in the Greater Bilbao area. The station after will be Santurtzi, which currently serves as the terminus. Kabiezes station is scheduled to open in 2014.
