Coria del Río is a small town near Seville, on the shores of Guadalquivir river. It is popularly known because there are some descendants of the first-ever Japanese official envoy to Spain. Early in the 17th Century Daimyo Date Masamune of Sendai sent a delegation led by Hasekura Tsunenaga to Europe. An embassy was then set up and six samurai stayed on. Approximately 700 of Coria's 25,000 residents use the surname Japón (originally Hasekura de Japón), identifying them as their descendants.

Castilleja de la Cuesta

Castilleja de la Cuesta is a town and municipality in the province of Seville, in the autonomous community of Andalusia, Spain. Hernán Cortés died in this town on December 2, 1547. He is not buried there however, because his remains were returned to Mexico as directed in his will. Costurero de la Reina

The Costurero de la Reina (literally, the Queen's sewing box) is a building constructed in the late nineteenth century in the gardens of the Palace of San Telmo, now the Maria Luisa Park in Seville, Spain.
