Sobieszewo Island
Sobieszewo Island is an island on the Baltic sea, located between the Gdańsk Bay and the delta of Vistula river. The island is the part of territory of the city of Gdańsk, Poland. Area: 34.3 km² Population: 3,570 people. Density: 104 people/km² The northern border of the island is the waters of Gdańsk Bay, while its southern border is a branch of the Vistula river, called Leniwka.

Śmiała Wisła
The Śmiała Wisła is a river branch of the Vistula in Poland flowing to Gdańsk Bay. The Śmiała Wisła is a western border of Sobieszewo Island and was created in 1840 during the flooding when it became a new mouth of the Vistula. Literally it means Daring Vistula.
German submarine U-10 (1935)
German submarine U-10 was a Type IIB U-boat built before World War II for service in the Kriegsmarine. As she was one of the first batch of boats built following the renunciation of the Treaty of Versailles, she was only capable of coastal and short cruising work. This led to her being reassigned to training duties after the Norwegian campaign of 1940 together with many of her sister boats. During the war U-10 sank two vessels: The Norwegian 1,819 ton Kvernaas, on 17 February 1940.

Third Millennium John Paul II Bridge
The Third Millennium John Paul II Bridge is a cable-stayed road bridge which spans the Martwa Wisła River in Gdańsk, Poland. The bridge forms an inverted “Y”-shape with a 100-metre-tall pylon. It is the longest cable-stayed bridge in Poland supported by a single pylon. The bridge links the Northern Port of Gdańsk with the national road network and is the first section of the future by-pass road of the city of Gdańsk.
