Sátoraljaújhely
Sátoraljaújhely is a town located in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county in northern Hungary near the Slovak border. It is 82 km east from the county capital Miskolc.
Tajba
Tajba is a "National Natural Reserve" in the cadastre of the village Streda nad Bodrogom in Slovakia. It is situated around an oxbow of the River Bodrog. The territory measures 273,600 square metres and it is a home of rare marsh communities. Species include the European Pond Turtle (Emys orbicularis), which is listed in the Red Book of Endangered Species as a critically endangered. On May 25, 1966 the Slovak Parliament approved the Tajba Reserve as a European Pond Turtle sanctuary.
Zemplín (village)
Zemplín is a village in Trebišov District in the Košice Region, near the junction point of rivers Ondava and Latorica (tributaries of the river Bodrog) in eastern Slovakia. The village has a population of 399. According to the 2001 census, 64.2% of inhabitants were Hungarians and 35.8% were Slovaks. Zemplín is also the location of Zemplín Castle, former administrative center of the former Zemplín region during the time the Kingdom of Hungary ruled the area.

Ondava
The Ondava is a 146.5 km long river in Slovakia, the northern source river of the Bodrog. Its source is in the Low Beskids, near the village Nižná Polianka, close to the border with Poland. The Ondava flows south through the towns Svidník, Stropkov and Trhovište, and through the Ondavská Highlands. Near the village Cejkov, the Ondava joins the Latorica and forms the Bodrog river, itself a tributary of the Tisza. The Ondava river is 44% regulated.

not to be confused with the nearby Zemplén Mountains The Zemplín Mountains is a small mountain range in southeastern Slovakia, geologically part of the Mátra-Slanec Area of the Inner Western Carpathians. The range of about 101 square kilometers is near the border of Hungary and its Tokaj wine region. The highest mountain of the range is Rozhladňa (469 meters). An important river is Roňava which also forms the border with Hungary; another river with its headwaters here is the Bodrog.
