Xujiahui
Xujiahui, also spelt Zikawei or Siccawei, is a locality in Shanghai, China. It is a historical and cultural area located in Xuhui District. The area is a well known precinct for shopping and entertainment in Shanghai. Xujiahui Simplified Chinese 徐家汇 Traditional Chinese 徐家匯 Transcriptions Mandarin - Hanyu Pinyin Xújiāhuì It is also the name of the metro station in the area, Xujiahui Station.
Xuhui District
Xuhui District is a district of Shanghai. It has a land area of 54.76 km² and a population of 982,200 as of 2008. The Xuhui District is centred on Xujiahui, after which it is named. Xujiahui was historically land owned by Ming dynasty bureaucrat and scientist Xu Guangqi, and later donated to the Roman Catholic Church. Being the core of Catholic Shanghai, the Xuhui District formed, together with neighbouring Luwan District, the former French Concession of Shanghai.
Longhua Temple
The Longhua Temple is a Buddhist Temple dedicated to the Maitreya Buddha located in Shanghai, China. Although most of the present-day buildings date from later reconstructions, the temple preserves the architectural design of a Song Dynasty monastery of the Buddhist Chan sect. It is the largest, most authentic and complete ancient temple complex in the city of Shanghai.

Hailed as a great feat of engineering at the time of its construction, the building is now considered dated and out-classed, by newly constructed sporting facilities nearby. It is now used mostly for entertainment events, rather than sporting competition.
Caobao Road Station
Caobao Road is the name of a station on Line 1 of the Shanghai Metro. This station is part of the southern extension of that line and it is located in Xuhui District. The station will provide an interchange with Line 12 when the line enters operation in 2012.

Yishan Road is the name of an interchange station between Lines 3, 4 and 9 on the Shanghai Metro. It is the southernmost station shared by Line 3 and Line 4, although the two lines do not share tracks (the Line 4 station is underground). Hongqiao Road Station is an interchange station between Lines 3, 4 and 10 on the Shanghai Metro. It is the southernmost station of which Lines 3 and 4 share the same tracks. The station is located in Changning District, Shanghai.
Shanghai Stadium
The Shanghai Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Shanghai, China. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium was built in 1997 when the 8th National Games of the People's Republic of China was held in Shanghai. It can hold about 80,000 people, so it is also called the "80,000 people's Stadium" (八万人体育场).
Nanyang Model High School
Shanghai Nanyang Model High School, often referred to simply as Nanmo, is one of the oldest Chinese modern schools founded in 1901 by Sheng Xuanhuai, Minister of Transportation in Qing Dynasty. As "the beginning of public elementary schools", the school started as the Affiliated Elementary School of Nanyang Public School (which is now Shanghai Jiaotong University, a public research university in China).
Xujiahui Station
Xujiahui is the name of an interchange station between Lines 1 and 9 of the Shanghai Metro. It is located in the Xujiahui area of Xuhui District, Shanghai. The station is one of the busiest in the metro system, and is extremely crowded during peak hours. Six large shopping malls and eight large office towers are each within no more than a three-minute walk of one of the station's exits.

Roman Catholic Diocese of Shanghai
The Roman Catholic Diocese of Shanghai is an ecclesiastical territory or diocese of the Roman Catholic Church in the Municipality of Shanghai, China. It was erected on December 13, 1933 as the Apostolic Vicariate of Shanghai by Pope Pius XI, and was later elevated to the rank of a diocese on April 11, 1946 by Pope Pius XII. The diocese is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Nanking.

South West Weiyu Middle School is a private school situated on Yishan Road in Xuhui District, Shanghai, PRC. Jianzhong Zhang is Principal of the South West Weiyu Middle School. Famous alumni Alan Tai(now senior in Shanghai Jiao Tong University) was President of P. E Dept in the Student Union.
Shanghai Astronomical Observatory
Shanghai Astronomical Observatory (SHAO), is an astronomical observatory located in Shanghai, China. It has a long history of astrometry, and also operates the Sheshan 25m radio telescope as part of the Chinese VLBI array and the EVN. It was formed in 1962 from the merger of the Xujiahui (originally spelt Zi-Ka-Wei) and Sheshan (Zỏ-Sẻ) observatories in Shanghai. It is involved with the Chang'e 1 moon mission as the VLBI array is used for position determinations.
Jiaotong University Station
JiaoTong University Station is the name of a station on Line 10 of the Shanghai Metro. The station entered operation in April 2010. It will also interchange with Line 11 when it enters operation in 2012. The famous Shanghai Jiao Tong University is located near the station, thus giving the station its name.
C. Y. Tung Maritime Museum
The C. Y. Tung Maritime Museum (董浩云航运博物馆 Dǒng Hàoyún Hángyùn Bówùguǎn) is located in the Shanghai Jiao Tong University. It houses the Chinese Maritime History Gallery and the C. Y. Tung Gallery. The former contains a permanent exhibition of maps, photographs, archival material, maritime trade routes and their artifacts, reflecting China's maritime history since the Neolithic Period. The latter portrays the Chinese shipping magnate C. Y. Tung.
Zhaojiabang Road Station
Zhaojiabang Road is an interchange station between lines 7 and 9 of the Shanghai Metro. It is located near the junction of Zhaojiabang Road and Wulumuqi Road in Xuhui District. The station came into operation on December 5, 2009.

It is renowned as one of the oldest and most prestigious and selective universities in China. It is a member of the C9 League and Yangtze Delta Universities Alliance in China.
