University of Queensland
The University of Queensland (UQ) is a public university located in the state of Queensland, Australia. Founded in 1909, it is the oldest and largest university in Queensland and the fifth oldest in Australia. The main campus is located in the suburb of St Lucia, southwest of the Brisbane City Central Business District, with other major campuses in Gatton, Ipswich and Herston with a number of other satellite facilities.

Toowong is a railway station in Toowong, a southwestern suburb of Brisbane, the state capital of Queensland, Australia, on the Ipswich and Rosewood and Springfield lines. The station falls in a transition precinct between Zone 1 and Zone 2 of the TransLink integrated public transport system. The station provides access to the café and shopping precinct, as well as the Regatta and Royal Exchange hotels nearby. It is the closest station to the St Lucia campus of the University of Queensland.

The Skyneedle, Brisbane
The Skyneedle is a prominent feature of the Brisbane skyline which was constructed especially for World Expo 88. The 88 m landmark was earmarked for relocation to Tokyo Disneyland (following the completion of Expo '88). However, hairdresser Stefan Ackerie stepped in and purchased the Skyneedle, which was then relocated to the Stefan HQ at South Brisbane. After purchase, Stefan added his firm's signature rainbow rings logo to the top of the tower.

Highgate Hill, Queensland
Highgate Hill is a suburb of inner Brisbane, Australia 2 km south of the Brisbane CBD on the Brisbane River. The topography of the suburb is undulating hills no more than 70 metres above sea level. Highgate Hill is a high-density suburb with many apartment buildings, some more than 10 storeys. These apartment blocks are centered along the main road of Dornoch Terrace, a trend that was started in 1960 by the landmark Torbreck building.
Regatta Hotel
The Regatta Hotel is an historic hotel located on the corner of Coronation Drive and Sylvan Road in Brisbane, Australia. It is located in the suburb of Toowong and faces the Brisbane River. The three-storey hotel contained accommodation on the upper two floors and a public bar and lounge area on the ground floor. It was named after the rowing regattas which were once held along the nearby river.
Toowong Village
Toowong Village is a building situated at the centre of the Brisbane suburb of Toowong, Queensland, Australia, on the block of land bounded by Coronation Drive, High Street and Sherwood Road. The blue glass office tower is a prominent landmark visible from Toowong and surrounding suburbs. Opened in 1986, Toowong Village is an office tower and shopping centre. The complex was built on the site of the former Patterson's sawmill and over the existing Toowong Railway station.
Schonell Theatre
The Schonell Theatre is a Theatre and Cinema complex at the University of Queensland. It consists of Theatre One: a 420 seat, single auditorium theatre capable of hosting projected cinematic films, musical performances, plays and lectures; Theatre 2, a 175 seat cinema and the Cement Box Theatre. It is situated in the UQU complex at the University of Queensland's St Lucia campus. The theatre was constructed in 1970 and underwent refurbishment in 2005.

Regatta is a ferry wharf in the suburb of Toowong used by the CityCat on the Brisbane River. With funding from the nearby Regatta Hotel and the Brisbane City Council the ferry wharf opened to the public on 7 April 2003 (2003-04-07).

The new wharf was officially opened on July 24.
University of Queensland ferry wharf
University of Queensland is a ferry wharf in the suburb of St Lucia used by the CityCat on the Brisbane River. A non-TransLink cross river ferry service formerly ran between UQ and Dutton Park, but was discontinued when the bus, cyclist and pedestrian only Eleanor Schonell Bridge adjacent to the route was completed. In January 2011 the wharf was destroyed during the devastating floods and the rebuilding works were expected to take months.
University of Queensland Australian Football Club
The University of Queensland Australian Football Club (UQAFC) is an amateur Australian rules football club playing in Divisions 1 and 3 of the SEQAFL competition overseen by AFL Queensland. UQAFC home games are played at the University of Queensland's No. 7 playing oval on the corner of Sir Fred Schonell Drive and Coleridge Street, St Lucia, Brisbane. Founded in 1956 and known as the Red Lions, the club has won seven Senior premierships and ten in Reserve grades.
International House, University of Queensland
International House (Commonly abbreviated as IH) is a residential college situated on the St Lucia campus of the University of Queensland. They provide fully catered accommodation for 200 undergraduate students, and self catered accommodation for 38 post graduate and mature aged undergraduate students. International House's residents are 50% Australian and 50% International students from approximately 35 different countries.
InterVarsity Choral Festival (Australia)
The Australian InterVarsity Choral Festival (IVCF) is an annual event in which members of university choirs from all state capitals of Australia and the national capital Canberra meet for two weeks to rehearse, socialise and perform combined concerts. The Festival also serves as the annual conference of the member choirs of AICSA, the Australian Intervarsity Choral Societies Association.
Vision, Touch and Hearing Research Centre
The Vision Touch and Hearing Research Centre (VTHRC, 1988-2007) was the first Commonwealth Special Research Centre to be awarded to the University of Queensland. Located on the St. Lucia campus of the University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia, the VTHRC was headed by Prof. Jack Pettigrew FRS, FAAS. The core research conducted at the VTHRC involved the use of sensory systems as models for understanding brain function and neuronal plasticity.
TC Beirne School of Law
The TC Beirne School of Law at the University of Queensland, founded in 1936, is the oldest law school in the Australian state of Queensland, as well as the sixth oldest law school out of 32 in Australia. Its alumni include two Chief Justices of Australia. The school has approximately 2,000 students, the majority of whom are studying the Bachelor of Laws. Other programs offered by TC Beirne include the Master of Laws, Master of Applied Law and Doctor of Philosophy.
Wesley Hospital (Brisbane)
The Wesley Hospital is a hospital located in the suburb of Auchenflower in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The hospital currently has over 530 beds and offers a large range of clinical services. It is owned and operated by UnitingCare Health. The hospital recently underwent works and an extension. The hospital is well known for its 'Kim Walters Choices Program' which supports men, women and their families who have been diagnosed with breast or gynecological cancer. This program is free.

The Queensland Theological College (QTC) is a theological college in Queensland, Australia. Based in Brisbane, it is the training college of the Presbyterian Church of Queensland and takes a Reformed Evangelical or Reformed Protestant stance. The college was established in 1876 and was previously known as the Presbyterian Theological Hall, the Reformed College of Ministries and the Consortium of Reformed Colleges, changing to the current name in 2006.
