Brisbane Correctional Centre
Brisbane Correctional Centre, formerly the Sir David Longland Correctional Centre, is a prison facility located at Wacol, Queensland, Australia. The prison is expected to receive its first inmates, after refurbishment and expansion, in January 2008. The newly-renovated prison houses a water conservation system, a unit specifically designed for 17-year-old prisoners, and an ultra-modern maximum security wing for dangerous offenders.
Wacol railway station
Wacol Station is a railway station on the Ipswich Line of Brisbane, Australia. It is part of the Queensland Rail City network. It is in a transition precinct between Zone 4 and Zone 5 of the TransLink integrated public transport system. Bright murals depicting domestic wildlife, forests and farmlands have been painted on the walls of platforms buildings. The animal theme was chosen because the RSPCA Animal Care Campus moved to Wacol in December 2011.

Brisbane Women's Correctional Centre
Brisbane Women's Correctional Centre is an Australian prison, located at Wacol, Brisbane. It was commissioned on 28 May 1999. Brisbane Women's Correctional Centre replaced the old Brisbane Women's Correctional Centre, located at Woolloongabba. The centre has a capacity of 264 cells and is divided into two accommodation areas of 122 secure cells and 142 residential cells. The centre is the only reception, assessment and placement centre for female offenders in southern Queensland.
Bellbowrie, Queensland
Bellbowrie is a suburb of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Bellbowrie lies 17 kilometres west-southwest of Brisbane's city centre. It is a rapidly developing semi-rural area due to Brisbane's growth heading in a westwards direction. The initial subdivisions in the area were commenced in the early 1970s. Development slowed in the aftermath of the 1974 Brisbane flood which saw much of the eastern, lower-lying areas of the suburb badly inundated with water.
