Lodz University of Technology
The Lodz University of Technology was created in 1945 and has developed into one of the biggest in Poland. Originally located in an old factory building, today covering nearly 200,000 sq. meters in over 70 separate buildings, the majority of them situated in the main University area. Approximately 21,000 students are currently studying at the University. Educational and scientific tasks of the University are run by about 3,000 staff members.
Medical University of Łódź

The stadium has a capacity of 10,500 people. It is named after Ludwik Sobolewski (1925–2008), Polish football administrator and Widzew Łódź president. A new 32,600-seat stadium has been planned. Construction is expected to start in 2013 and finish in 2015.

Teatr Wielki w Łodzi (The Grand Theater in Łódź) is an opera house in Łódź, Poland. It is the largest theatre in the city, specialising in opera, operetta and ballet. The School of Polish for Foreigners (SoPfF/SJPdC) - an educational institution, part of University of Łódź. Its main purpose is to prepare foreign students to study at Polish universities. The School of Polish for Foreigners was established in 1952 in Łódź. Stefan Jaracz Theatre
The Stefan Jaracz Theatre in Łódź, Poland is the oldest theatre in the region. It is a repertory theatre subordinate to the Marshall Office of the Łódź Voivodeship. During the years 1888-1949 (when the theatre chose Stefan Jaracz as its patron) it was known as the Polish Theatre and the City Theatre.
Łódź Fabryczna railway station
Łódź Fabryczna - train station was built at the initiative of industrialist Karol Scheibler in 1865. According to the Polish classification of stations, it belongs to category B. The station is located in the centre of Łódź, close to the city's central bus station. Trains frequently depart to Koluszki and thence to Warsaw, Kraków, Radom, Czestochowa, and Tomaszów Mazowiecki.
