Celje
Celje is the third-largest town in Slovenia. It is a regional center of Lower Styria and the administrative seat of the City Municipality of Celje (Slovene: Mestna občina Celje). The town of Celje is located below Upper Celje Castle (407 m) at the confluence of the Savinja, Hudinja, Ložnica, and Voglajna rivers in the lower Savinja Valley, and at the crossing of the roads connecting Ljubljana, Maribor, Velenje, and the Central Sava Valley. It lies 241 m above mean sea level (MSL).

Stari Pisker
Stari Pisker is a former prison in Celje, Slovenia. During World War II the German occupation forces committed many war crimes in the city and 374 hostages were executed at the Stari pisker Prison in 1944. The prison once underwent an inspection by Heinrich Himmler. In 1965 the prison was reopened as a memorial site, with a memorial room in what was once the torture chamber and the courtyard adapted for remembrance. It underwent a renovation in 1995.

Since 1991, when Slovenia became independent, it uses the number SI-3000. The building of the Celje Post Office stands at 9 Krek Square. It was built in the neo-Renaissance style in 1898 upon the plans by Bureau für Postbauten company from Vienna. It is protected as a local cultural monument.
Mirna (Sava)
The Mirna is a river in southeastern Slovenia. The river, in which the marathon swimmer Martin Strel first learned to swim, is a right tributary of the Sava River in the province of Lower Carniola. It is 44 kilometers long, starts below the settlement of Velika Preska, flows through the Mirna Valley and joins the Sava at Dolenji Boštanj, opposite Sevnica. The largest settlement on the river is Mirna.

The Voglajna is a river in Lower Styria, Slovenia. The river is 35 kilometres in length. Its source is Lake Slivnica near Slivnica pri Celju. It passes Šentjur, the ruins of Rifnik Castle, and Štore, and then merges with the Savinja River in Celje.
Hudinja (river)
The Hudinja is a river in Lower Styria, Slovenia. The river is 32 kilometres in length. Its source is on the Pohorje Massif southwest of Mount Rogla, about 1350 m above sea level, near the source of Dravinja River. The river passes Vitanje, Socka Castle, Vojnik, and Celje, where it merges with the Savinja. An eponymous district of Celje lies on the river.
Barbara Pit
The Barbara Pit is a pit near Huda Jama in Slovenia, known as the site of a World War II-era mass grave. The mass grave site was first publicly discussed in 1990, after the fall of communism in Yugoslavia. In the 1990s a memorial chapel was raised at the Barbara Pit site, although the exact location of any graves at that time was unknown. Investigation of the Barbara Pit site began in August 2008. On March 3, 2009 investigators removed concrete walls built after the war to seal the cave.

Lisca
Lisca is a 948 m (3,110 ft) hill in the eastern part of the Sava Hills in southeastern Slovenia, northwest of Sevnica, north of the Sava, and south of Gračnica Creek. The hill offers a superb view. It is the most frequently visited hiking destination in the Sava Hills. The hill has two summits: Lisca and Little Lisca . At Lisca there is a meteorological station, the only one in Slovenia with a meteorological radar, and a ski slope. At Mala Lisca, there are three paragliding take-off sites.
