Stardome Observatory
Stardome Observatory (IAU observatory code 467, previously known as Auckland Observatory) is a public astronomical observatory situated in Cornwall Park in New Zealand's largest city, Auckland. Founded in 1967, the observatory is administered by the Auckland Observatory and Planetarium Trust Board. The Trust Board was created by the Auckland Astronomical Society (AAS) in 1956. The Stardome Observatory is also home to the AAS.

Onehunga
Onehunga is a suburb of Auckland City in New Zealand and the location of the Port of Onehunga, the city's small port on the Manukau Harbour. It is eight kilometres south of the city centre, close to the volcanic cone of One Tree Hill (Maungakiekie). The residential and light-industrial suburb, with its approximately 18,000 residents and almost 1,000 commercial and industrial businesses, stretches south from Royal Oak to the north shore of the Manukau Harbour.

Mangere Bridge (bridges)
Mangere Bridge, officially also called the Manukau Harbour Crossing, is a motorway bridge over the Manukau Harbour in south-western Auckland, New Zealand, crossing between the suburb also known as Mangere Bridge (southern side) and the suburb of Onehunga (northern side). Completed in 1983, the current bridge carries a four-lane motorway (carrying approximately 80,000 vehicles daily) with a cycle and pedestrian path also suspended underneath the western side of the bridge.
Favona
Favona is mostly industry-dominated suburb of Auckland, New Zealand, and is part of the Mangere area. The suburb is in the Manukau ward, one of the thirteen administrative divisions of Auckland city, and is under governance of the Auckland Council. The area has a long history of habitation, due to its fertile lands, a productive harbour, and proximity to the Manukau-Tamaki isthmus. Māori of Ngāti Whātua were the inhabitants until they were supplanted by European farmers in the 19th century.
Mangere Bridge, New Zealand
Mangere Bridge is an Auckland suburb under the local governance of the Auckland Council, at the south end of Mangere's bridge over the Manukau Harbour. It is home to Mangere Mountain and the Ambury Farm Park run by the Auckland Council, and backs onto rural land surrounding the Auckland Airport. It is a multicultural area, often with large families, with the suburb dominated by brick-and-tile homes built in the 1960s-1970s.
Waikowhai Intermediate School
Waikowhai Intermediate School is an intermediate school located at 666 Richardson Road, Mount Roskill, Auckland City, New Zealand. It serves the areas of Mount Roskill, Waikowhai, Lynfield and Blockhouse Bay. The current principal is Howard Perry. The school originated in 1965 as a Teacher Training College, and began serving as an intermediate school in 1967. The school's educational opportunities for year 7 and 8 include interactive whiteboards in all classrooms.
Mangere Mountain
Mangere Mountain (also Mangere Domain, for the park) is one of the largest volcanic cones in the Auckland Volcanic Field, with a peak 106 metres above sea level, and was the site of a major pā. Many of the pā's earthworks are still very evident. It offers spectacular panoramic views of Auckland. The mountain features two large craters. The volcano has a wide crater with a lava dome near its centre, a feature shared by no other volcano in Auckland.
Onehunga High School
Onehunga High School is a state co-educational secondary school in the Auckland suburb of Onehunga, New Zealand. The school incorporates a business school, founded by Just Water International's creator Tony Falkenstein, which is sponsored by brewery company Lion Nathan and a construction school sponsored by Fletcher Construction, making it unique among New Zealand secondary schools.
Royal Oak Intermediate
Royal Oak Intermediate, is an Intermediate school in Auckland, New Zealand. Established in 1943, it is set in just over 3 hectares of level grounds close to Royal Oak Shopping complex. The School was originally known as Manukau Intermediate School, so called for the school's proximity to the Manukau Harbour.

Royal Oak Mall is a shopping centre in Auckland, New Zealand which was expanded in the mid-1980s. It is on the corner of Manukau and Mt Albert Roads in Royal Oak, Auckland City, and has 80 shops, 18 of which are national brands. There are 778 of carparks available which are covered and uncovered.
Mount Roskill Intermediate
Mount Roskill Intermediate is a co-educational school for boys and girls in Years 7 & 8. It is located in Denbigh Avenue, Mount Roskill, Auckland, New Zealand next to Mount Roskill Primary and Mount Roskill Grammar School. It currently has a roll of 820 pupils, with a teaching staff of 43. Specialist subjects taken by students include Art, Performing Arts, Science, Food and Materials Technology and Hard Materials Technology. There is also a Special Needs Class and a Special Abilities Class.
Puketutu Island
Puketutu Island is a volcanic island in the Manukau Harbour, New Zealand, and is part of the Auckland volcanic field. European settlers called it Weekes' Island, but this was eventually removed again in favour of the historical Māori name. In the 1950s, several of its scoria cones were heavily quarried for fill to extend Auckland Airport nearby. The island's highest point, 65 m high Pinnacle Hill was retained.
Mangere Lagoon
Mangere Lagoon is a lagoon in the Manukau Harbour, New Zealand. It occupies a volcanic crater or maar which is part of the Auckland volcanic field. Oval and about 600m long, it has a small restored scoria island remaining in the centre. In the 1930s efforts were made to drain the swamp for conversion to pasture, while in the late 1950s, earthworks for sewage sludge ponds in the lagoon removed the scoria cone and the crater was divided into ponds.
Pah Homestead
The Pah Homestead is a historic stately home located in the Auckland suburb of Hillsborough in New Zealand. It was restored by the Auckland Council, which owns it, as part of its plans to develop the surrounding Monte Cecilia Park into a premier park for the city.
Auckland Seventh-day Adventist High School
Auckland Seventh-day Adventist High School (ASDAH) is a secondary school (years 9–13) in Mangere suburb of Manukau city, Auckland Region, New Zealand. It is owned by the Seventh-day Adventist church. In the 2007 ERO report, it was recommended that the Secretary for Education intervene in order to bring about improvements to school management and governance, with particular reference to improving the management of the curriculum, personnel, and the provision of a safe environment.
Marcellin College, Auckland

Waikaraka Cycleway

Te Hopua
Te Hopua a Rangi is one of the volcanoes in the Auckland Volcanic Field in Auckland, New Zealand, and is located in Onehunga. Its 300 m wide, sediment-filled explosion (maar) crater was used as a boat harbour in early European times and known as Geddes Basin. It was reclaimed in the 1930s and made a sports ground, named Gloucester Park in 1935 after the visit to New Zealand by the Duke of Gloucester in that year.
Waitomokia
Waitomokia (also Gabriel Hill or Mount Gabriel) is one of the volcanoes in the Auckland Volcanic Field. Its 600 m wide tuff crater contained three small scoria cones up to 20 m high, one with a crater, which were quarried away.
Onehunga Harbour Road Bridge
The Onehunga Harbour Road Bridge is a walking and cycling bridge over Onehunga Harbour Road, a heavily trafficked road at the southwestern edge of Onehunga, New Zealand. The bridge provides easy and safe access from Onehunga to both the Waikaraka Cycleway running west-east, and Old Mangere Bridge to the south, which in turn links over the Mangere Inlet mouth of the Manukau Harbour. The bridge is 3.5m wide, and distinguished by its sweeping, curved structure.
Greenwoods Corner, New Zealand
Greenwoods Corner is an Auckland neighbourhood located between Epsom and Royal Oak, at the intersection of Pah Road and Manuakau Road. It is settled in the lee of One Tree Hill and serves as a convenient launching point for the area’s many attractions.
