Metro Cuatro Caminos
Metro Cuatro Caminos (translated from Spanish the name literally means "Four Roads") is a station of the Mexico City metro network. It is the current north terminus of Line 2 and serves as a hub for regional transport from and into the State of México. As of 14 September 1970 Line 2 originally terminated at Metro Tacuba, but on 22 August 1984 the line was extended an additional two stations to reach the municipality of Naucalpan.
Metro Panteones
Panteones is a station serving Line 2 of the Mexico City Metro. It is located in the Colonia Argentina district of the Miguel Hidalgo borough of the Mexican Federal District. Panteón means "cemetery" in Spanish; the station's name and logo come from the nearby graveyards. Metro Tacuba
Metro Tacuba is a station of the Mexico City Metro. It is located in the Tacuba district of the Miguel Hidalgo borough, to the west of downtown Mexico City. It lies along Lines 2 and 7. The station logo depicts three flowers, as its name comes from the Nahuatl language word tlacopan, that which means "land of flowers". It refers to the ancient Tepanec kingdom of Tlacopan that existed in the area in pre-Columbian times.

The Aztec calendar stone, Mexica sun stone, Stone of the Sun (Spanish: Piedra del Sol), or Stone of the Five Eras, is a large monolithic sculpture that was excavated in the Zócalo, the main square of Mexico City, on December 17, 1790. It was discovered while Mexico City Cathedral was being repaired. The stone is approximately 12 feet across and weighs approximately 24 tons.
Secretariat of National Defense (Mexico)
The Mexican Secretariat of National Defense (Spanish: Secretaría de la Defensa Nacional, SEDENA) is the government department responsible for managing Mexico's Army and Air Forces. Its head is the Secretary of National Defense who, like the co-equal Secretary of the Navy, reports directly to the President. Before 1937, the position was called the Secretary of War and Navy (Secretaría de Guerra y Marina). The agency has its headquarters in Lomas de Sotelo, Miguel Hidalgo, Mexico City.
Chapultepec Zoo
Chapultepec Zoo is a zoo located in Chapultepec Park; it is one of four zoos near Mexico City, and the best known Mexican zoo. It was founded July 6, 1923 by Mexican biologist Alfonso Luis Herrera using donations from private citizens and governmental funds from the Ministry of Agriculture and Development, and also with funds from the Society of Biological Studies.

Cascabel (roller coaster)
Cascabel is a steel shuttle roller coaster that has been at Chapultepec Park in Mexico City since 1991. In 1991, Chapultepec park received the coaster from Kennywood amusement park, near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where the coaster was named "Laser Loop". Chapultepec park would rename the coaster to "Cascabel" (Spanish for "rattle", in reference to a rattlesnake).

Metro Polanco is a station along Line 7 of the Mexico City Metro. The station opened on 20 December 1984. It serves the Polanco neighborhood. The logo for the station features a silhouette of a building typical of the architecture of Polanco.
Metro Auditorio
Metro Auditorio is a Mexico City Metro station located on line 7. It is one of the main metro gateways to the chic and business-related neighbourhood, Polanco. The entrances to the station are on Paseo de la Reforma, one of the main thoroughfares in Mexico City. Its symbol depicts the façade of the Auditorio Nacional (English: National Auditorium), which is just above the station.
Hipódromo de las Américas
Hipódromo de las Américas is a thoroughbred and quarter-horse race track in Mexico City, Mexico that had its inaugural meeting on March 6, 1943. It is located approximately four and one-half miles from the downtown district, on Lomas de Sotelo, Mexico City. It is operated by Grupo CIE. Facilities include the original club-house and grandstand, with seating for 20,000 persons, as well a stable area which can accommodate 1700 horses.

Manufactured by Anton Schwarzkopf, it was originally purchased by showman Rudolf Barth in 1984 who operated it as "Dreier Looping" for 12 years on the German fair circuit.

Polanco, Mexico City
This article is about a neighborhood of Mexico City, for other uses read Polanco (disambiguation). Polanco is the name that usually refers to a very affluent group of seven official neighborhoods ("colonias") in Mexico City, located north of Chapultepec Park. The official names of the neighborhoods are: Los Morales (which is divided in three sections), Del Bosque, Polanco Reforma, Polanco Chapultepec, Chapultepec Morales, Bosque de Chapultepec and Residencial del Bosque.
La Feria Chapultepec Mágico
La Feria Chapultepec Mágico is an amusement park in Mexico City, Mexico. Located in Chapultepec Park, it opened in 1964 as Juegos Mecánicos de Chapultepec and was operated by the Mexican government. In 1992 Grupo CIE bought it and changed the name to the current one.
Tacuba (Mexico City)
Tacuba is a section of northwest Mexico City. Tacuba was an autonomous municipality until 1928, when it was incorporated into the Central Department along with the municipalities of Mexico, Tacubaya and Mixcoac. The Central Department was later split up into boroughs (delegaciones); historical Tacuba is now in the borough of Miguel Hidalgo. Tacuba is home to a Child Jesus image called the “Niño Futbolista” (Child Football/Soccer player).
2008 Mexico City plane crash
An official Mexican Interior Ministry aircraft crashed in central Mexico City at around 18:45 local time on November 4, 2008. Mexican Secretary of the Interior Juan Camilo Mouriño, who was aboard the plane, was killed in the crash, along with the other seven people on board and at least six people on the ground. The plane crashed in rush-hour traffic close to the intersection of Paseo de la Reforma and the Anillo Periférico, in the Las Lomas residential and business district.

The Museo Soumaya is a private museum in Mexico City with free admission. The museum holds works by many of the best known European artists from the 15th to the 20th century. It contains a large collection of casts of sculptures by Auguste Rodin. The museum was founded in 1994.
