Francisco I. Madero is a city in the northern Mexican state of Coahuila. It is located at the southwestern part of the state near the Durango state border, in the economic region known as Laguna at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:25|46|31|N|103|16|23|W| | |name= }}, at a mean height of 1,100m above sea level. It serves as the municipal seat for the Francisco I. Madero Municipality, Coahuila. It is named for Revolutionary hero Francisco I. Madero, a native of nearby Parras de la Fuente. The city is located 200 km from the state capital, Saltillo. It had a 2005 census population of 30,084, while its surrounding municipality had a total population of 51,528.

The Coliseo Centenario (Centennial Coliseum in English), officially named "Centro de Espectaculos Coliseo Centenario" is a multi-purpose complex in Torreón, in the state of Coahuila, Mexico. The complex can seat up to 10,000 people. It can also accommodate and services concerts, theater, sports venue, exhibitions and conventions it also has restaurants, a bullfighting museum, and offices. Coliseo Centenario is one of the most modern centers of spectacles of the north of the country in Mexico. Its first event was bullfighting event on February 8, 2008. It first music concert was held on February 14, 2008 performed by the remaining members of The Doors. Other musical acts that appear at the Coliseo Centenario includes Banda el Recodo, Maná, Mägo de Oz, Pedro Fernández, Café Tacuba and Juan Gabriel.

Matamoros is a city and seat of the surrounding municipality of the same name located in the southwestern part of the state of Coahuila in Mexico. It lies directly east of the larger city and municipality of Torreón, and is a part of a larger metropolitan area that includes the municipalities of Torreón in Coahuila in addition to Gómez Palacio and Lerdo in the adjacent state of Durango. Francisco Sarabia International Airport (Torreón International Airport) is an international airport located in Torreón, Coahuila, Mexico. It handles the national and international air traffic of the Comarca Lagunera, considering Gómez Palacio and Lerdo in the State of Durango. The management of this airport is the responsibility of Grupo Aeroportuario Centro Norte (OMA). The airport has grown over 25% in passengers during the last decade. Responding to this growth, the airport terminal has recently been expanded and remodeled and significantly improve its image and services. In Torreon Airport was a complete expansion and renovation of Terminal Building which includes new areas of documentation, a second floor where are located the last waiting room, a VIP lounge and new business areas covering different spins. The airport was named in honor of Francisco Sarabia Tinoco, a pioneer of commercial aviation in Mexico.

Estadio Corona (1970)

The Estadio Corona (the name comes from the beer brand) was one of the smallest football (soccer) stadiums in Mexico having only capacity for 20,100 seats. It was located in the city of Torreón, Coahuila. This sport facility was used mostly for football games and was the home of the club Santos Laguna. This stadium did not host any FIFA World Cup games because of its limited size and facilities. In 2004 this stadium hosted several games of the Copa Libertadores.

Estadio de la Revolución is a sports arena located near the downtown area of Torreón in Coahuila, Mexico. It has a seating capacity of 8,500. Though used mainly for baseball games, it sometimes hosts concerts and other non-sport events. It is the home field of the Vaqueros Laguna baseball team. Since it was originally constructed as a multi sport stadium and featured a running track the Estadio de la Revolución features the largest foul territory of any ball park within the Mexican League, the area of the former running track. The stadium is named to commemorate the Mexican Revolution of 1910–1920, a political change that was still recent at the time of the venue's opening on 15 September 1932. The stadium was renovated in the fall of 2002 to provide a refurbished appearance for the baseball team's reorganization, renaming, and new season starting in 2003.

El Cristo de las Noas, located on the Cerro de las Noas hill, in the Mexican city of Torreón, Coahuila, is a large sculpture by Vladimir Alvarado, portraying Jesus Christ. It was built between 1973 and 2000. The statue measures 21.80 meters from its base, and is made of over 580 tons of reinforced concrete; it is the most significant symbol not only of Torreón, but of all the Comarca Lagunera region. The project was conceived in 1973 by José Rodriguez Tenorio, and is the biggest Christ statue in North America; and third biggest in Latin America, only smaller than the statue of Christ The Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and Cristo de la Concordia in Cochabamba, Bolivia. In the sanctuary of Christ of the Noas, there is a religious resort with replica of the Holy Land, panoramic restaurant, and soon plans to build a cable car, begun in 1973 and opened in 2000. This statue owes its name after the hill where it is placed, Cerro de las Noas, named after a desert cactus that grows in this region. At the Cristo de las Noas Sanctuary, there is a religious touristic complex with Holy Land replicas and a panoramic restaurant.
