Kings Mills, Ohio

Kings Mills is an unincorporated community in the northeastern corner of Deerfield Township, Warren County, Ohio, United States, on the western shore of the Little Miami River. Located along I-71 twenty miles northeast of Cincinnati, it is about three miles east of Mason, two miles southwest of South Lebanon, two and one-half miles north of Fosters, and two miles west of Hopkinsville. Another town, called Gainsboro, was platted on this site in the 1820s, but it did not prosper.

College Football Hall of Fame

The College Football Hall of Fame is a hall of fame and museum devoted to college football. Formerly located in South Bend, Indiana, it was connected to a convention center and situated in the city's renovated downtown district, two miles south of the University of Notre Dame campus. Middletown Junction was the point in northwestern Hamilton Township, Warren County, Ohio, United States, on the eastern bank of the Little Miami River where the Middletown and Cincinnati Railroad joined with the Little Miami Railroad about midway between Kings Mills and South Lebanon. Son of Beast

Son of Beast was a record-breaking, wooden roller coaster located at Kings Island in Mason, Ohio. Built and designed by the now defunct Roller Coaster Corporation of America, it opened to the public on May 26, 2000, and was themed as a sequel to one of the park's other signature attractions, The Beast. In addition to breaking the world record for speed, Son of Beast was the first wooden hypercoaster in the world with a 214-foot drop and was the only wooden coaster to feature a loop.

Lebanon Countryside Trail

The Lebanon Countryside Trail is a rail trail in Ohio. Largely used as a bicycle trail, it links the city of Lebanon, Ohio on the north to the Little Miami Scenic Trail at Middletown Junction on the south. The trail is about 8.5 miles long. It opened in late 2005.

Vortex (Kings Island)

Vortex is a steel roller coaster at Kings Island located in Mason, Ohio. Designed and built by Arrow Dynamics at a cost of $4 million, the ride officially opened to the public on April 11, 1987. Vortex debuted as the tallest, full-circuit roller coaster with the highest drop in the world. It was also the first to feature six inversions. Vortex occupies the same location in the park once held by The Bat, the world's first suspended roller coaster.

Allen, The Racer is often recognized with being a vital part of the roller coaster renaissance of the 1970s, generally referred to as the industry's second golden age. Flight Deck (Kings Island)

Flight Deck is an Arrow Dynamics steel suspended roller coaster opened in 1993 at Kings Island in Mason, Ohio. It is Kings Island's second suspended coaster following The Bat, an early prototype from the same manufacturer that operated for several seasons in the early 1980s. Flight Deck is themed to a jet fighter that gives riders the illusion they are narrowly missing track supports and other elements while swinging through sharp turns.

Adventure Express

Adventure Express is a Mine Train roller coaster located at Kings Island amusement park that opened in 1991. The ride is located in the Oktoberfest section of Kings Island near Outer Hank's and the SlingShot. The ride is considered a mine train and has the typical lap bar designed trains, abrupt turns and does not feature inversions. Adventure Express is dedicated to Robert Rinkel, a head of maintenance who died prior to the opening of the coaster.

Firehawk (roller coaster)

Firehawk is a steel flying roller coaster built by Vekoma at Kings Island in Mason, Ohio. It originally opened as X-Flight at Six Flags Worlds of Adventure on May 26, 2001. Cedar Fair purchased Worlds of Adventure in 2004 and began efforts to downsize the park. In November 2006, Cedar Fair announced plans to relocate X-Flight. Kings Island was later revealed as the destination, and it officially reopened as Firehawk on May 26, 2007.

Kings High School (Kings Mills, Ohio)

Kings High School is a public high school in Kings Mills, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Kings Local School District. The school's mascot is the Knights. The School has been rated excellent for 10 consecutive years under Ohio academic standards. The school competes athletically in the FAVC East Division Conference. Notably, the school underwent construction in 2009 and now resembles a castle. A new wing was added with brand new lockers, classrooms, and a high-tech upgrade.
