Brunswick Station is a census-designated place (CDP) within the town of Brunswick in Cumberland County, Maine, United States. The population was 578 at the 2010 census. It consists of area that was part of the former Naval Air Station Brunswick. The CDP is part of the Portland–South Portland–Biddeford, Maine Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Bowdoin College
Bowdoin College /ˈboʊdɨn/, founded in 1794, is a private liberal arts college located in the coastal Maine town of Brunswick. The college enrolls approximately 1,700 students and has been coeducational since 1971. It offers 33 majors and 4 additional minors, and the student-faculty ratio is 9:1. Famous alumni include Joshua Chamberlain, Nathaniel Hawthorne, and Henry W. Longfellow. It is a highly selective liberal arts college.
Naval Air Station Brunswick
Naval Air Station Brunswick, also known as NAS Brunswick, was a military airport located 2 miles northeast of Brunswick, Maine. The base was home to a number of Navy-operated Maritime patrol aircraft. Before closing, the base continued to operate as part of its closing procedures while the airport was operating publicly under the name Brunswick Executive Airport. The base closed on May 31, 2011, as per the 2005 Base Realignment and Closure committee decision.

Brunswick Air Force Station
Brunswick Air Force Station is a closed United States Air Force General Surveillance Radar station. It is located 2.5 miles east-southeast of Brunswick, Maine. It was closed in 1965. Brunswick AFS was one of the first of twenty-four stations of the 1949 permanent Air Defense Command radar network. On December 2, 1948, the Air Force directed the Army Corps of Engineers to proceed with construction of this and the other twenty-three sites.
