East Flanders is a province of Flanders, one of the three regions of Belgium. It borders (clockwise from the North) on Zeelandic Flanders and on the provinces of Antwerp, Flemish Brabant, of Hainaut and of West Flanders. Zwijnaarde
Zwijnaarde is a village in the municipality of Ghent, Belgium. It is known for its fair and its Zwijntjes beer. A cluster of biotech companies is located at the Zwijnaarde science park, with biotech companies such as Innogenetics, and DevGen. Different youth organisations are active in Zwijnaarde, such as Jeugdhuis Chaos, Chiro Ambo and KLJ Zwijnaarde.
Arteveldestadion
Arteveldestadion is a multi-use stadium in Ghent, Belgium, that as of 2009 is under construction. Once completed in 2013, it will be used mostly for football matches and will host the home matches of K.A.A. Gent. The stadium will have a capacity of 20,000 people. It replaces their current stadium Jules Ottenstadion. The first plans of the stadium were presented mid-2003, but only at the start of 2011, KAA Gent could confirm that the stadium would be built. It should be ready by mid-2013.
Museum of Fine Arts, Ghent
The Museum of Fine Arts (Dutch: Museum voor Schone Kunsten) in Ghent, Belgium, is situated at the East side of the Citadelpark. The museum holds a large permanent collection of art from the Middle Ages until mid 20th Century. The collection focuses on Flemish Art (Southern Netherlands) but also has several European- especially French- paintings. It also has a large amount of sculptures. Next to its permanent collection the museum organises temporary exhibitions (approximately 2 every year).

Ledeberg is a submunicipality of the city of Ghent. It lies south-east of downtown Ghent and has direct access to the E17 road. Its population is 13,974 inhabitants (2005).
Zwijnaarde science park
The Zwijnaarde science park is a science park of Ghent university, located in Zwijnaarde near Ghent. The science park has an area of 52 hectare (ha) and comprises the Ardoyen campus (30 ha) of the University of Ghent and the Ardoyen science park (22 ha). The Ardoyen campus comprises several institutes of the engineering and science faculty of the university. The science park comprises a business incubator and about 40 companies employing about 1500 scientists.
International School Ghent
The International School Ghent is an English-language international school that provides an international education to students aged 3 to 12. The campus is shared with a local partner school De Kleine Icarus and lies in the heart of Ghent within the Flanders region of Belgium. The school building is part of the Ledeganck campus of Hogeschool Gent (University College Ghent) and is co-located with the Faculty of Education, Health and Social Work.
