Fernald Feed Materials Production Center

The Fernald Feed Materials Production Center (commonly referred to simply as Fernald or later NLO) is a Superfund site located within Crosby Township in Hamilton County, Ohio, as well as Ross Township in Butler County, Ohio. It was a uranium processing facility located near the rural town of Fernald, about 20 miles (32 km) northwest of Cincinnati, which fabricated uranium fuel cores for the U.S. nuclear weapons production complex from 1951 to 1989.

New Baltimore is a census-designated place (CDP) in Crosby Township, Hamilton County, Ohio, United States. The population was 661 at the 2010 census. The village was formed in 1819 by Samuel Pottinger and is located about 4 miles east of New Haven. In July 1863, Morgan's Raiders used a ford at New Baltimore to cross the Miami River.
