Parchment, Michigan
Parchment is a city in Kalamazoo County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The 2010 census recorded a population of 1,804. The name is derived from the parchment company that used to manufacture there. Parchment is located just northeast of the city of Kalamazoo.
Homer Stryker Field
Homer Stryker Field is a stadium in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The baseball field is located in Kalamazoo's Mayors Riverfront Park. It is primarily used for baseball, and was the home field of the Kalamazoo Kings minor league baseball team. It originally opened in 1963, making it the oldest ballpark in the Frontier League's Central Division. It holds 4,000 people. Homer Stryker Field became the home of the Kalamazoo Kings in 2001.

Northglade Montessori Magnet School
Northglade Montessori Magnet School is a public elementary magnet school for students grades K-6, operated by the Kalamazoo Public Schools, located in Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA. It was established in August 2001 by the restructuring of Northglade Elementary School. The school serves around 250 children, of whom 83% are black and 13% white. Children learn through the Montessori Method of guided exploration rather than through traditional educational methods. The principal is Dale Mogaji.

Kalamazoo Superfund Site
In 1990, the Allied Paper, Inc. /Portage Creek/Kalamazoo River was declared a Superfund site by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Kalamazoo is located on the southwestern side of Michigan. A three mile section of Portage Creek flows into the Kalamazoo River which is also contaminated. The Kalamazoo River flows directly into Lake Michigan. A Superfund site is an abandoned site with significant amounts of toxic waste.
Comstock Public School District
The Comstock Public School District resides in Comstock Charter Township near the city of Kalamazoo, Michigan and is part of the Kalamazoo RESA Intermediate School District. Comstock Public Schools also serves portions of Kalamazoo Township, Pavilion Township, City of Portage, Michigan, and the City of Kalamazoo, Michigan. There were approximately 2,300 students enrolled in the district in 2010. Students in Comstock attend one of six schools: Comstock High School, 9-12 traditional high school.
