Elmhurst High School was a public high school with a comprehensive intake and over 1,000 students. Elmhurst High School was part of the Fort Wayne Community Schools school district, serving those living in the Waynedale area of Fort Wayne. It received accreditation from the Indiana Department of Education and the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools.
WGL (AM)
WGL is an AM radio station located in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The station operates on the AM radio frequency of 1250 kHz. The station was the first to broadcast in the city of Fort Wayne. Chester Keen and Lauer Auto founded what was originally called WCWK when it signed on in 1921. Keen bought the Lauer interests in WCWK in 1925. That same year, WOWO was established by the Main Auto Supply Co. , with studios above Main Auto's downtown factory.

Bishop Luers is owned and operated by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend. The school was founded in 1958 by the Franciscan Fathers of the Saint John the Baptist Province in Cincinnati, Ohio, along with the Sisters of Saint Francis Province in Mishawaka, Indiana. The first bishop of the diocese, John Henry Luers, is the namesake of the school.

Waynedale, Fort Wayne
Waynedale is a community in the southwest quadrant of Fort Wayne, Indiana in Allen County. The community was founded in 1921 by Abner Elzey, a Methodist preacher and funeral director from Ossian. Residents signed petitions in 1957 requesting annexation by the City of Fort Wayne. Subsequent to the submission of the petitions to the City, Waynedale and its estimated 6,000 residents were annexed into the Fort Wayne city limits.
