The club concentrates on Gaelic football, a Ladies Gaelic football club is also in existence in Augher called St. Macartan's whose catchment area includes neighbouring Clogher and Eskra. In 2008 Augher won the Tyrone Junior Football Championship, by beating neighbouring club Aghaloo in the final, on a scoreline of 1:09 to 0:09.

Clogher (Parliament of Ireland constituency)

Clogher was a borough constituency in the Irish House of Commons until 1800. It represented the "city" of Clogher in County Tyrone. The city, actually no more than a village, gained its importance as the site of the cathedral of the Church of Ireland diocese of Clogher. The constituency was a rotten borough in the gift of the bishop. When the constituency was disestablished, bishop John Porter's claim for £15,000 compensation was disallowed.

St Macartan's Cathedral, Clogher is one of two cathedral churches in the Diocese of Clogher (the other is St Macartin's Cathedral, Enniskillen) in the Church of Ireland. It is situated in the village of Clogher, Co Tyrone, Northern Ireland in the ecclesiastical province of Armagh. The dean and chapter are located at St Macartin's, Enniskillen. It was designed in 1744 by architect James Martin in a neo-classical style.
