Qinnasrin
Qinnasrin, was a historical town in northern Syria. It gained fame as an important religious and cultural centre of Syriac Christians before the coming of Islamic conquests. The ancient Chalcis was the birthplace of 3rd century Neoplatonist philosopher Iamblichus.
