North Shore City
North Shore City is a former territorial authority district in the Auckland region of New Zealand, which was governed by the North Shore City Council from 1989 until 2010. The city had an estimated population of 229,000 at 30 June 2010, making it the fourth most populous city in New Zealand prior to the November 2010 reorganisation. The former city was also the country's fourth largest city in land, with an area of 129.81 square kilometres and a coastline of 141 kilometres.
Harbourside Church
Harbourside Church, (formerly Takapuna Assembly of God) located in Auckland, is one of New Zealand's largest churches. Its 1300-seat auditorium was built in 1985 and is a prominent structure in the Takapuna area where the church is located.
Lake Pupuke
Lake Pupuke is a heart-shaped freshwater lake occupying a volcanic explosion crater between the suburbs of Takapuna and Milford on the North Shore of Auckland, New Zealand. The heart shape is a result of its formation by the linking of two circular craters - a larger one forming most of the lake and a smaller one forming the arm in the northeast. Separated from the sea by less than 200 m at one point, it has a circumference of about 4.5 km and reaches 57 m in depth.
Takapuna
Takapuna is a central, coastal suburb of North Shore City, located in the northern North Island of New Zealand, at the beginning of a south-east-facing peninsula forming the northern side of the Waitemata Harbour. While very small in terms of population, it was the seat of the North Shore City Council before the amalgamation of Auckland in 2010 and contains substantial shopping and entertainment areas, being considered the CBD of North Shore City.
Milford, New Zealand
Milford is a suburb of Auckland, New Zealand's largest city. Located on Auckland's North Shore and part of North Shore City, Milford is located on the northern side of Lake Pupuke. It also has a popular swimming beach, which runs some two kilometers from Black Rock in the south to Castor Bay in the north. The Wairau Creek empties into the Hauraki Gulf at the northern end of Milford Beach, and its lower tidal reaches host the Milford Marina.

Westlake Boys High School is a state secondary school for boys located in Forrest Hill, Auckland, New Zealand. The school caters for Form 3 (Year 9) to Form 7 (Year 13). In February 2012, Westlake Boys High School had over 2300 students, making it one of New Zealand's largest schools for boys in terms of student numbers. Its sister school, Westlake Girls High School, is nearby.

Belmont, Auckland
Belmont is an Auckland suburb. The name, which means "good view or hill" derives from a farm estate called "Belmont" subdivided in 1885. The population of the "Seacliffe" statistical area, which is substantially the same as Belmont, was 3,297 in the 2006 Census, an increase of 162 from 2001. The suburb is in the North Shore ward, one of the thirteen administrative divisions of Auckland City.

Takapuna Grammar School
Takapuna Grammar School (TGS) is a decile 10 secondary school located in the suburb of Belmont, North Shore City, Auckland, New Zealand. Established in 1927, TGS currently has a roll of around 1600 students from the North Shore. It serves many communities such as Bayswater, Belmont, Devonport, Takapuna and Milford. The current principal is Simon Lamb.
Rosmini College
Rosmini College is a state integrated Catholic secondary school for boys, situated in Takapuna, Auckland, New Zealand. The school caters to Years 7-13 (Forms 1-7), and currently has a roll of approximately 960. Founded in 1962 by Father Catcheside, the school was named after Antonio Rosmini, founder of the Institute of Charity. The school's motto is Legis Charitas Plenitudo, translated as 'Charity Fulfils the Law', or sometimes translated as 'Love Fulfils the Law'.
Carmel College (New Zealand)
Carmel College is a Catholic secondary school for girls located in Milford on Auckland's North Shore. It was established by the Sisters of Mercy in 1957 starting with a student roll of only fifteen girls.
North Shore Events Centre
North Shore Events Centre is an indoor arena, located in Auckland, New Zealand. The arena opened in 1992 and has a seated capacity of 4,114 plus standing room for about 300 giving a capacity of 4,400. The Centre primarily hosts basketball games and is the home arena of the New Zealand Breakers who play in the Australasian NBL. It also hosts concerts and netball. In 2009 the Centre hosted the final of the FIBA Under-19 World Championship. The final saw the United States defeat Greece 88-80.
Westlake Girls High School
Westlake Girls High School is a state single-sex girls secondary school, located on the North Shore of Auckland, New Zealand. The school in the suburb of Takapuna, west of Lake Pupuke and adjacent to North Shore Hospital, the Auckland Northern Motorway, and the Northern Busway's Smales Farm station.

Sentinel (building)
The Sentinel (sometimes The Sentinel or Sentinel Tower) is a luxury residential skyscraper in Takapuna, the central business area of North Shore City, New Zealand. The largest and currently only real skyscraper in the city, it has 30 levels and is 150 m tall including spire. It offers sweeping views over the Waitemata Harbour, the wider Hauraki Gulf as well as over to the Auckland CBD skyline. The Sentinel was opened to the first residents in February 2008.
Belmont Intermediate School
Belmont Intermediate School is located in Belmont, North Shore City, Auckland, New Zealand. It was established in 1957. Contributing schools include: Devonport Primary Vauxhall Primary Stanley Bay Primary Hauraki Primary St. Leos Belmont Primary Bayswater Primary. Pupils attend for years seven and eight. As of 2007 there were just over 500 pupils enrolled. At the end of year eight the majority of students move to Takapuna Grammar School, which is located next door.
Westlake, New Zealand
Westlake is a suburb of North Shore City, one of the four cities comprising New Zealand's Auckland urban area. It lies eight kilometres to the northwest of the Auckland CBD between the major suburbs of Milford and Glenfield. The name arises from its position on the western shoreline of Lake Pupuke. Within Westlake are three secondary schools, Westlake Boys High School, Westlake Girls High School and Carmel College, and also North Shore Hospital.

Tank Farm
The Western Reclamation in Auckland City is also sometimes called 'Tank Farm'. Tank Farm (sometimes Tuff Crater) is the name of a volcanic explosion crater in North Shore City, New Zealand, near the approaches to the Auckland Harbour Bridge. Its Maori name is Te Kopua o Matakamokamo, meaning 'the basin of Matakamokamo'. Matakamokamo is an ancestral figure in Maori oral tradition who, during a domestic argument, is said to have inadvertently cursed the goddess of fire, Mahuika.
Onepoto (volcanic crater)
Onepoto is the name of a volcanic explosion crater in North Shore City, New Zealand. It is a part of the Auckland volcanic field. Located near the approaches to the Auckland Harbour Bridge, it was created by a series of eruptions approximately 250,000 years ago. The crater first became a freshwater lake, and later became a tidal lagoon when sea level rose to the present level 7000 yrs ago after the last ice age.
Merge in Takapuna (proposed building)
Merge in Takapuna is a mixed-use development / residential skyscraper proposed for Takapuna, North Shore City, New Zealand. At about 100 m, it will be the second tallest building in Takapuna, next to the Sentinel tower already built directly adjacent to the future site.
Hato Petera College
Hato Petera College (formerly called St Peter's Māori College) is an integrated, boarding and day co-educational college in Northcote Central, Auckland, New Zealand for students in Year 9 to Year 13. The school has a strong Catholic and Māori character. It is located on part of the land originally given by Sir George Grey, Governor of New Zealand, to Bishop Pompallier, first Bishop of Auckland in 1849 for education purposes.
Akoranga Busway Station
Akoranga Station is a bus station in Northcote, New Zealand, part of the Auckland Northern Busway. It is adjacent to the Akoranga Campus of the Auckland University of Technology and linked to it by a footbridge over the Northern Motorway. The station provides shelters, real time information on bus services and passenger drop off and pick up Akoranga busway station was opened on 2 February 2008. It is the closest busway station to the Britomart Transport Centre & the Auckland Harbour Bridge.
Smales Farm Busway Station
Smales Farm Station is a bus station in Westlake, New Zealand, part of the Auckland Northern Busway. It is adjacent to the Smales Farm Office Park which houses Sovereign, Air New Zealand & Telstra Clear as well as others. The station provides shelters, real time information on bus services and passenger drop off and pick up Smales Farm Busway Station was opened on the 2 February 2008. It is the 2nd closest station to the Britomart Transport Centre.
