Tláhuac
Tláhuac is one of the 16 delegaciones (boroughs) into which Mexico's Federal District is divided. It is located on the south east edge of the district and while much is still rural in character, it has been undergoing urbanization with the fastest rate of population growth in Mexico City since the 1960s.
Milpa Alta
Milpa Alta is one of the 16 boroughs into which Mexico's Federal District is divided. It lies in the southeast corner of the Distrito Federal, bordering the State of Mexico and Morelos. It is the second largest and most rural of all the boroughs with the lowest population.
Los Reyes Acaquilpan
Los Reyes Acaquilpan is a city and governing head of the municipality of La Paz in State of Mexico, Mexico. It is located on the dividing line between Mexico State and the eastern edge of the Federal District. It can therefore be considered part of the Greater Mexico City area. The area was part of a region called "Atlicpac" which in Náhuatl means 'above or at the edge of water. ' The current city's/municipality's glyph symbolizes water.
Lake Xochimilco
Lake Xochimilco is an ancient endorheic lake located in the Valley of Mexico, part of a series of lakes, which included the brackish Lake Texcoco, Lake Zumpango, and Lake Xaltocan and the fresh water Lake Chalco. These lakes were the home of many Mesoamerican cultures, including the Teotihuacanos, the Toltecs, and the Aztecs.
Lake Chalco
Lake Chalco was an endorheic lake formerly located in the Valley of Mexico and was important for human development in central Mexico. The lake was named after the city of Chalco on its eastern shore. Lake Chalco and the other Mexican great lakes formed the ancient Basin of Mexico lake system. These lakes were home to many Mesoamerican cultures including the Toltecs and the Aztecs.

Estadio W (730 AM, "W Stadium") is a 100 kW all-sports radio station based in Mexico City, Mexico. The sports format started in 1999 as "Super Deportiva" on 1180 AM; later, it moved to 830 AM ("Estadio 830") and 590 AM ("Estadio 590"). In 2003 the format settled at XEX and is currently known as Estadio W. Radio personalities include: Francisco Javier González, Antonio Moreno Zermeño, Jorge Sánchez, Daniel Alberto Brailovsky, Alfredo Ruiz and Eduardo Tréllez.
San Andrés Mixquic
San Andres Mixquic is a community located in the southeast of the Distrito Federal (Mexico City) in the borough of Tláhuac. The community was founded by the 11th century on what was a small island in Lake Chalco. “Mixquic” means “in mesquite” but the community’s culture for most of its history was based on chinampas, gardens floating on the lake’s waters and tied to the island.
XEQ-AM
XEQ-AM, also known as Bésame (English: Kiss Me), is a Mexican clear-channel station on 940 kHz and licensed for Mexico City. It is licensed to Cadena Radiodifusora Mexicana, S.A. de C.V. and operated by Radiópilis, a company owned by Televisa Radio and PRISA's Unión Radio. XEQ-AM is licensed domestically in Mexico for 50,000 watts day and night, but is listed as a foreign station in the U.S. FCC databases as 150,000 watts during the daytime and in the Mexico City borough of Iztapalapa.
Tlapacoya (Mesoamerican site)
Tlapacoya is an important archaeological site in Mexico, located at the foot of the Tlapacoya volcano, southeast of Mexico City, on the former shore of Lake Chalco. Tlapacoya was a major site for the Tlatilco culture. Tlapacoya is known in particular for Tlapacoya figurines. These sophisticated earthware figurines were generally created between 1500 and 300 BCE and are representative of the Preclassic Period.
Cerro de la Estrella (archeological site)
Cerro de la Estrella is a mesoamerican archaeological site located in southeastern Central Mexico's Valley of Mexico, in the Iztapalapa delegación of the Mexican Federal District at an elevation of 2460 meters (8070ft) above sea level, hence its Summit is 224 m over the Valley of Mexico level. At the southeast edge of what was the Great Texcoco Lake. Historical sources establish that ancient inhabitants of the Mexican Plateau knew this place as Huizachtecatl.

Chalco de Díaz Covarrubias is a city that is municipal seat of the surrounding municipality of Chalco. It lies in the eastern part of the State of Mexico just east of the Federal District of Mexico and is considered part of the Mexico City metropolitan area.
Valle de Chalco
Valle de Chalco, officially named Valle de Chalco Solidaridad, is a municipality located in Mexico State, Mexico, on the eastern outskirts of the metropolitan area of Mexico City. Formerly part of the municipality of Chalco, it was split off as a separate entity in 1994, during the presidency of Salinas de Gortari, under his Programa Nacional de Solidaridad (National Solidarity Program).
Metro UAM-I
Metro UAM-I is a station along Line 8 of the Mexico City Metro. The station's logo is the logo of the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana campus Iztapalapa, which is close to the station. The station was opened on 20 July 1994. Until September 1996 this station was known as La Purísima, the name of the street where it is located. The previous logo was the silhouette of the Virgin of Guadalupe.

Constitución de 1917 is a terminal station at the southeastern end of line 8 of the Mexico City Metro in Mexico City, Mexico. The logo of the station depicts a quill above a document dated 1917 and is intended to represent the Constitution of Mexico, which was adopted 5 February 1917. The station was opened on 20 July 1994.

It is located in the Colonia Santa Martha Acatitla Norte and Colonia Santa Martha Acatitla Sur neighborhoods of the Iztapalapa borough of Mexico City. Chalco
Chalco was a complex (singular) or Chalcah . In the 14th and early 15th centuries, flower wars were fought between the Chalca and the Aztecs. Serious war erupted in 1446. According to the Amaqueme historian Chimalpahin, this was because the Chalca refused a Mexica demand to contribute building materials for the temple of Huitzilopochtli. Chalco was finally conquered by the Aztecs under Moctezuma I in or around 1465, and the kings of Chalco were exiled to Huexotzinco.

Metro La Paz (Mexico City Metro)
La Paz (Spanish: Estación La Paz) is a Mexico City Metro station that serves Line A. It is currently the terminal station. It opened, along with the other stations along Line A, on 12 August 1991. It is located in Los Reyes Acaquilpan, Mexico State – a city that is the municipal seat of the La Paz municipio. The logo for the station is a dove in flight, since La Paz means "The Peace".
Xochimilco Ecological Park and Plant Market
Xochimilco Ecological Park and Plant Market is a natural reserve or park, with a thirteen hectare plant market, the largest in Latin America. The park and market are located in the southern Mexico City borough of Xochimilco, about 23 km south of the historic center of the city. The park was inaugurated in 1993, on chinampas (artificial lake islands) which had been previously declared as part of a World Heritage site.
Niñopa
The Niñopa or Niñopan is the most venerated image of the Child Jesus in the Mexico City borough of Xochimilco. It was created over 430 years ago in the San Bernardino monastery, as part of evangelization efforts. Since then it has been in the possession of the community. Rather than being kept in the parish church it is in the custody of a sponsor or mayordomo, whose family is in charge of the many festivities and traditions associated with the image for a year.
San Bernardino de Siena Church, Xochimilco
San Bernardino de Siena Church is the parish church of the borough of Xochimilco in Mexico City. The church and former monastery complex was built in the 16th century over a former pre Hispanic temple as part of evangelization efforts after the Spanish conquest of the Aztec Empire. Since its construction, it has been the center of much of Xochimilco’s history and social life, including ceremonies related to is famous image of the Child Jesus called the Niñopa.
Fábrica de Artes y Oficios Oriente
The Fábrica de Artes y Oficios Oriente (Arts and Trades Factory East), better known as FARO or FARO Oriente is a cultural center and training facility located in the Iztapalapa borough of Mexico City. It is the only major cultural facility on this side of the city. It was inaugurated in 2000 with the aim of providing educational and cultural opportunities for some of the most marginalized populations in Mexico City, providing an alternative to gangs and drugs.
