Myrtleford is a town in north-east Victoria, Australia, 45 kilometres south-east of Wangaratta and 275 kilometres north-east of the state capital, Melbourne. Myrtleford is part of the Alpine Shire local government area and at the 2006 census the town had a population of 3,187.
Ovens, Victoria
Ovens is a small town in north east Victoria, Australia located at the junction of the Ovens River and Happy Valley Creek. At the 2006 census, Ovens and the surrounding area had a population of 130. It is 4 kilometres south east of Myrtleford heading towards Bright and is the home of the Happy Valley Hotel and Souter's Vineyard. The area is part of the Alpine Valleys Wine region, and was formerly used for tobacco plantations. Ovens acts as a bypass to many of the local snow fields.

Myrtleford railway station
Myrtleford railway station is a former station of the closed Bright line in Myrtleford, Victoria, Australia. The Myrtleford Station site is the only former station on the line to have been built over, with a retirement village constructed on the site in the 1990s. There is very little evidence of the former station with the exception of a large tree which was part of the station grounds.
