Wagga Wagga is a city in New South Wales, Australia. Straddling the Murrumbidgee River, and with an urban population of 46,913 people, Wagga Wagga is the state's largest inland city, as well as an important agricultural, military, and transport hub of Australia. The city is located midway between the two largest cities in Australia, Sydney and Melbourne, and is the major regional centre for the Riverina and South West Slopes regions.

Wagga Wagga Base Hospital is located in the City of Wagga Wagga, the largest inland city of New South Wales, Australia. The hospital is the largest in the region, providing medical services to the wider Riverina. It is the regional referral hospital for outlying areas, and provides medical, surgical, orthopaedic, psychiatric and paediatric inpatient services in addition to emergency care. Wagga Wagga also is home to a private hospital, Calvary Hospital, which is also important for the region.

Sturt Mall is a shopping centre located in the CBD of Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, Australia. Sturt Mall was opened on the 12 November 1979 at a cost of A$24 million (1979). The Sturt Mall provides direct competition with the nearby Wagga Wagga Marketplace. The proximity of the shopping centres has provided Wagga with a Coles Group-Woolworths rivalry which is evident in metropolitan areas. A feature of Sturt Mall is the 220 seat food court.

House prices in Turvey Park are amongst some of the highest in Wagga Wagga due to its proximity the CBD. The suburb was added to the municipality in 1939.
Willans Hill Miniature Railway
Willans Hill Model Railway is located in Wagga Wagga Botanic Gardens in the suburb of Turvey Park in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, Australia. The railway was established in 1982. It is operated by the Wagga Wagga Society of Model Engineers. It includes 2 kilometres of track, two stations, several buildings, bridges, tunnels and a number of locomotives owned by the club or individual members. The railway is open to the public on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month. Each ride is A$2.00.
Victory Memorial Gardens
Victory Memorial Gardens are located on the banks of the Wollundry Lagoon in the central business district of Wagga Wagga New South Wales, Australia. The 2.02 hectares of land were formerly the site of the Old Police Barracks and Police Paddock, where all of the police horses were kept. It became land for public recreation in February 1931. In 1925 the Wagga Wagga Municipality Council planned a tribute to those who fought and died in the First World War.
Museum of the Riverina
The Museum of the Riverina is a local history museum in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, Australia. The Riverina is the region in south-western New South Wales in which Wagga Wagga is located. The museum was established by Wagga Wagga and District Historical Society in 1967 (Morris, p. 241) in premises near the Wagga Wagga Botanic Gardens on Lord Baden Powell Drive. In the late 1990s, Wagga Wagga City Council took over the operation of the museum.
Wagga Wagga railway station
Wagga Wagga Railway Station, is a major railway station on the Main Southern railway line in New South Wales, Australia. It serves the city of Wagga Wagga, and is located at Station Place in the city's CBD. The station opened in 1879 as South Wagga Wagga, and was renamed as Wagga Wagga in 1883. It previously served as a junction point for the now closed Tumbarumba line. It is currently served by twice daily XPT trains between Sydney and Melbourne.
Wagga Wagga Botanic Gardens
Wagga Wagga Botanic Gardens, Australia are located in the Wagga Wagga suburb of Turvey Park on a 20 hectare site on the south western slopes of Willans Hill Reserve. Access to the gardens is via Macleay Street near the corner of Lord Baden Powell Drive. As well as many different types of garden, the Botanic Gardens are home to a music bowl, a small zoo with a walk through aviary, a tree chapel, Willans Hill Model Railway and a camellia garden.
Eric Weissel Oval
Eric Weissel Oval was a multi-use stadium in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, Australia. It was named after Eric Weissel and opened in 1959. It was used mostly for rugby league matches and had a capacity of 10,000 people, with a record crowd of 11,685 recorded on 20 July 1988 for the Australia vs Papua New Guinea as part of the 1985 - 1988 Rugby League World Cup where the Aussies defeated the Kumuls by a then world record score of 70-8.

Murrumbidgee Co-operative Milling
Murrumbidgee Co-operative Milling was built in 1890 in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales. After the Co-operative closed its operation in the 1980s the site was sold in 1987 to Goodman Fielder, operating for approximately a decade before ceasing its operation in December 2000. The Milling Co-operative was the second largest flour milling company in New South Wales outside Sydney.

Plans are in place for a $3 – $5 million Dollar redevelopment of the arena.

Wagga Wagga High School (commonly known as 'Wagga High' abbreviated WWHS) is a public secondary school in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, Australia. Established in 1912, the school is located on Coleman street, on the upper slopes of Turvey Park, overlooking much of the city. The school was the first state secondary school established in Wagga Wagga, and is currently the oldest still operating. Wagga Wagga High School was originally located on Gurwood Street, closer to the CBD.
