Wagga Wagga is a city in New South Wales, Australia. Straddling the Murrumbidgee River, and with an urban population of 46,913 people, Wagga Wagga is the state's largest inland city, as well as an important agricultural, military, and transport hub of Australia. The city is located midway between the two largest cities in Australia, Sydney and Melbourne, and is the major regional centre for the Riverina and South West Slopes regions.

Willans Hill Miniature Railway
Willans Hill Model Railway is located in Wagga Wagga Botanic Gardens in the suburb of Turvey Park in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, Australia. The railway was established in 1982. It is operated by the Wagga Wagga Society of Model Engineers. It includes 2 kilometres of track, two stations, several buildings, bridges, tunnels and a number of locomotives owned by the club or individual members. The railway is open to the public on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month. Each ride is A$2.00.
Victory Memorial Gardens
Victory Memorial Gardens are located on the banks of the Wollundry Lagoon in the central business district of Wagga Wagga New South Wales, Australia. The 2.02 hectares of land were formerly the site of the Old Police Barracks and Police Paddock, where all of the police horses were kept. It became land for public recreation in February 1931. In 1925 the Wagga Wagga Municipality Council planned a tribute to those who fought and died in the First World War.
Museum of the Riverina
The Museum of the Riverina is a local history museum in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, Australia. The Riverina is the region in south-western New South Wales in which Wagga Wagga is located. The museum was established by Wagga Wagga and District Historical Society in 1967 (Morris, p. 241) in premises near the Wagga Wagga Botanic Gardens on Lord Baden Powell Drive. In the late 1990s, Wagga Wagga City Council took over the operation of the museum.

Wagga Wagga Railway Station, is a major railway station on the Main Southern railway line in New South Wales, Australia. It serves the city of Wagga Wagga, and is located at Station Place in the city's CBD. The station opened in 1879 as South Wagga Wagga, and was renamed as Wagga Wagga in 1883. It previously served as a junction point for the now closed Tumbarumba line. It is currently served by twice daily XPT trains between Sydney and Melbourne.
Wagga Wagga Civic Theatre
Wagga Wagga Civic Theatre is located in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, Australia at the Wagga Wagga Civic Centre. It is adjacent to Wollundry Lagoon, art gallery and Wollundry Amphitheatre. The Civic Theatre opened in 1963. It was renovated in 1999/2000, opening again in May 2000. The main auditorium has a seating capacity of 488 and features an orchestra pit seating up to 38 musicians.

Access to the gardens is via Macleay Street near the corner of Lord Baden Powell Drive. As well as many different types of garden, the Botanic Gardens are home to a music bowl, a small zoo with a walk through aviary, a tree chapel, Willans Hill Model Railway and a camellia garden.

Riverina Theatre Company
Riverina Theatre Company (also known as the RTC) was established in 1976 as the Riverina Trucking Company however changed its name to the Riverina Theatre Company in 1983. It was the longest serving theatre company in Regional Australia. In 2005 Riverina Theatre Company lost $150,000 in funding from The Australia Council after the Council's director of theatre found that the application for funding wasn't strong enough.
Murrumbidgee Co-operative Milling
Murrumbidgee Co-operative Milling was built in 1890 in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales. After the Co-operative closed its operation in the 1980s the site was sold in 1987 to Goodman Fielder, operating for approximately a decade before ceasing its operation in December 2000. The Milling Co-operative was the second largest flour milling company in New South Wales outside Sydney.
ABC Riverina
ABC Riverina is an ABC Local Radio station based in Wagga Wagga and broadcasting to the Riverina and Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area regions in New South Wales. This includes the towns and cities of Griffith, Goulburn, Leeton and Hay. The station began as 2CO in 1931 originally based in Albury and covering south-west New South Wales and north-east Victoria. The station in Wagga Wagga operated only as an opt-out service until 1987.
Kooringal High School
Kooringal High School (abbreviated KHS) is a secondary high school and a partially selective, co-educational, public high school, located in the Wagga Wagga suburb of Kooringal, New South Wales, Australia. Kooringal High opened in 1973 with 354 students in Years 7 and 8, eighteen teachers, one office worker and eight cleaners. The school was the third government high school established in the City of Wagga Wagga.

Robertson Oval
The Robertson Oval is a multi-use sports facility in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, Australia. It primarily hosts cricket, Australian rules football and rugby league matches. A grass embankment runs around three-quarters of the oval with a 350 seat grandstand and social club on western side of the ground. Plans are in place for a $3 – $5 million Dollar redevelopment of the arena.

The school was the first state secondary school established in Wagga Wagga, and is currently the oldest still operating. Wagga Wagga High School was originally located on Gurwood Street, closer to the CBD.
