Hangman Island
Hangman Island, also known as Hayman's Island, is an island in the Quincy Bay area of the Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area. The island is a barren outcrop of bedrock, with a permanent size of half an acre rising to only three feet above sea level, plus an intertidal zone of a further 5 acres . Access is by private boat only. Approach to this island should be made with care and with the use of a nautical chart since there are many rocks and shoals in the immediate area.

WJDA broadcasts Spanish-language programming on Sundays and between 7-10 PM on weekdays, and Portuguese-language programming during the rest of the week.
Peddocks Island
Peddocks Island is one of the largest islands in Boston Harbor. Since 1996 it has formed part of the Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area. Managed by the Department of Conservation and Recreation, the island is home to the now-defunct Fort Andrews, active in harbor defense from 1904 to the end of World War II, on its eastern end, and a group of privately owned cottages on its western end. Campsites are also on the eastern end.
Hough's Neck
Houghs Neck is a one-square-mile (2.6 km) peninsula in Quincy, Massachusetts. It is surrounded by Quincy Bay, Hingham Bay and Rock Island Cove. It is lined by Perry Beach, which runs along Manet Avenue; Nut Island, which is just beyond Great Hill at the very end of the peninsula; and Edgewater Drive. Houghs Neck is commonly referred to by locals as "The Neck," and its residents as "Neckahs" ("Neckers") or "Neckies".
Raccoon Island (Massachusetts)
Raccoon Island is an island in the Hingham Bay area of the Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area, situated just offshore of Hough's Neck in the city of Quincy. The island has a permanent size of just under 4 acres, and is composed of bedrock outcroppings which reach an elevation of 30 feet above sea level. The island is characterized by gravel beaches and rocky slopes. While it is possible to walk to the island at low tide, public access is discouraged.
Germantown (Quincy, Massachusetts)
Germantown is a primarily residential neighborhood in the city of Quincy, Massachusetts, USA. The neighborhood is located on a peninsula surrounded by Town River Bay on the west and Rock Island Cove on the east. This peninsula was known since the 1640s as “Shed's Neck”. Palmer Street, the main thoroughfare of the neighborhood, was named for General Joseph Palmer.
Nut Island
Nut Island is a former island in Boston Harbor, part of the Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area. The island has been connected through a short causeway to the end of Houghs Neck, becoming part of the mainland of Quincy, Massachusetts. There are recreational trails, benches, remnants of a history cannon, and a fishing pier on the small island.
