Bliss Corner is a census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Dartmouth in Bristol County, Massachusetts, United States. The population was 5,280 at the 2010 census.
Padanaram, Massachusetts
Padanaram is a village in South Dartmouth, Massachusetts, Bristol County, Massachusetts, United States. It lies along the Apponagansett River (also Padanaram Harbor) or Apponagansett Bay. The village of Padanaram was one of many settlements which began cropping up within the town of Old Dartmouth after its purchase from the Wampanoag Indians by members of the Plymouth Colony in 1652. During King Philip's War the settlement was burned down and all cattle killed.

WNBH
WNBH is one of the oldest broadcast radio stations in America (claiming it's the 11th oldest although that can be disputed), dating back to 1921. At one time WNBH had its studios at the New Bedford Hotel where it derived its callsign. In 1948 WNBH added FM service with WNBH-FM on 98.1 megahertz (known at the time as megacycles)/Channel 251. The two stations are still co-owned to the present. WNBH is under ownership of Hall Communications and is currently an affiliate of ESPN Radio.
William J. Rotch Gothic Cottage
The William J. Rotch Gothic Cottage is a National Historic Landmark on 19 Irving Street in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Alexander Jackson Davis built Rotch Cottage in a Gothic Revival style in 1845 and the house was included in "The Architecture of Country Houses" (1850) bringing it early fame. The house was added to the National Historic Register in 2006.

In September 1778, as part of British operations in the American Revolutionary War, Major General Charles Grey raided the Massachusetts communities of New Bedford, Fairhaven and Martha's Vineyard. The raid was one of the first in a series between 1778 and 1781 executed by the British against American coastal communities.
