Corwith Yard

Corwith Yards, a railroad intermodal freight terminal located at Pershing Road (39th Street) & Kedzie Avenue in the southwest side of Chicago, Illinois, in the neighborhood of Brighton Park, is a landmark in the history of railroad freight transport. At the time it was built by the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway in 1887, it was the world's largest railway yard. With adjacent parking and buildings it covers nearly a square mile of land.

Racine (CTA Green Line station)

Racine is an abandoned rapid transit station on the Chicago Transit Authority's Green Line. The station is located at 6314–16 South Racine Avenue in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. Racine was opened on February 25, 1907, when the Englewood branch of the South Side Elevated Railroad was expanded westward. The station closed with the rest of the Green Line on January 9, 1994, to be rebuilt, but did not reopen with the rest of the line on May 12, 1996.
