Santee Boulders
Santee Boulders is a rock outcropping and recreational rock climbing area in the northern section of Santee, California. It is well known for its thin faces and mantels. The Access Fund has been able to work with the owners in keeping this popular bouldering site open to the public.
El Cajon Transit Center (MTS Transit Center)

It marks the eastern terminus of the Orange Line while the Green Line continues northward to Arnele Avenue to its terminus at Santee Town Center. The next station south is Amaya Drive. The stop is a major commuter center for the large suburb, allowing individuals to switch buses or rail lines, use park and ride services, or board regional Greyhound Buses.
Arnele Avenue (San Diego Trolley station)
Arnele Avenue is a San Diego Trolley station served by the Green Line. The next station north is Gillespie Field, and the next station south is El Cajon Transit Center. The stop serves as a minor park and ride for the surrounding residential community and also allows for access to a large commercial strip. Westfield Parkway, a major shopping mall, is within walking distance of the station.

Gillespie Field is a San Diego Trolley station located across Marshall Avenue from Gillespie Field airport which is served by the Green Line. The next station north is Santee Town Center, which is the Green Line's terminus, and the next station south is Arnele Avenue. Museum of Creation and Earth History
The Museum of Creation and Earth History is a young earth creationist museum founded by the Institute for Creation Research at its original headquarters in Santee, California in 1970. After the Institute for Creation Research moved from Santee to Dallas, Texas in 2008, the institute sold the museum to the Life and Light Foundation, a non-profit ministry run by Tom Cantor. The Life and Light Foundation now has plans for expansion.
Rancho El Cajon
Rancho El Cajon was a 48,800-acre Mexican land grant in present day San Diego County, California given in 1845 by Governor Pio Pico to María Antonia Estudillo de Pedrorena. The name means "the box" in Spanish, and refers to the valley between hills. The grant encompassed present day El Cajon, Bostonia, Santee, Lakeside, Flinn Springs, and the eastern part of La Mesa. The grant contained the 28-acre Rancho Cañada de los Coches grant.
