The 47th District encompasses conservative cities in Orange County, but its larger, more liberal Long Beach population causes this district to tilt Democratic overall. Flying Saucers (attraction)
Flying Saucers was an amusement ride at Disneyland in Anaheim, California from 1961 to 1966. Guests rode on personal flying saucers on a cushion of air, similar to an air hockey game, which played in a way similar to bumper cars with guests ramming each other with their saucers. As the ride began, the saucers would be subject to a high volume of low-pressure air directed underneath the saucers by means of a grid of circular valves from a plenum chamber below the field on which they operated.

The Anaheim Walk of Stars is a venue in Anaheim, California which honors those who have made significant contributions to Anaheim's and Orange County's national and international prominence. Recipients are honored with granite stars on sidewalks in the Anaheim Resort area, similar to the well-known Hollywood Walk of Fame. The venue's official website also cites similarities to venues in Las Vegas and Palm Springs. The venue was started as part of a celebration of Anaheim's 150th anniversary.
City National Grove of Anaheim
The City National Grove of Anaheim is an indoor, live music venue in Anaheim, California operated by Nederlander Concerts of Los Angeles. Its approximate capacity is 1,700. Less than 2 miles from the Disneyland Resort, the Grove is just to the east of Interstate 5 on Katella Avenue. The Grove sits on the northwest corner of the parking lot of Angel Stadium of Anaheim, home of Major League Baseball's Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
