Brentwood is a district in western Los Angeles, California, United States. The district is located at the base of the Santa Monica Mountains, bounded by the San Diego Freeway on the east, Wilshire Boulevard on the south, the Santa Monica city limits on the southwest, the border of Topanga State Park on the west and Mulholland Drive along the ridgeline of the mountains on the north.

Jackie Robinson Stadium (UCLA baseball)

Jackie Robinson Stadium is a college baseball stadium in Los Angeles, California, U.S. , the home field of the UCLA Bruins of the Pac-12 Conference. Opened in 1981, it is the smallest stadium in the conference, with a seating capacity of 1,820. It is named after former Bruin baseball player Jackie Robinson, the first African-American professional player of the modern era. Robinson attended UCLA from 1939–41, after graduating from Pasadena Junior College.

The Gehry Residence is Frank Gehry's own house. It was originally an extension, designed by Gehry built around an existing house. It makes use of unconventional materials, such as chain link fences and corrugated steel. Urban Military Academy

Urban Military Academy was a boarding and day school in Hollywood, California, for boys between the ages of six and fifteen, founded in 1905 by Mary McDonnell (on Melrose Avenue at Wilcox; it later moved to 11600 Beverly Blvd. ) and at the time it opened "the only private school for boys in the City. " Its commandant was Major Harry Lee Black, who in 1928 helped found Black-Foxe Military Institute on Urban's original site.

The Sawtelle Veterans Home was a care home for disabled American veterans in what is today part of the Los Angeles metropolitan area in California in the United States. The Home, formally the Pacific Branch of the National Home for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers, was established in 1887 on 300 acres of Rancho San Vicente y Santa Monica lands donated by Senator John P. Jones and Arcadia B. de Baker.

Barrington Plaza is an apartment complex opened in 1964 in Los Angeles, California, which was originally conceived and developed by the then Van Nuys based B. C. Deane Company. In 1961 it was the tallest building west of Chicago and the largest urban renewal project in the history of western United States. It was financed with the largest mortgage to be insured by the Federal Housing Administration(FHA) in its history, and eventually with private financial backing from Louis Lesser.

Barry Building

The Barry Building is a commercial mid-twentieth century modern building located at 11973 San Vicente Boulevard in the heart of the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. It was designed by architect Milton Caughey (1911-1958) and completed in 1951. In 2007, the building was listed as a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument, making it one of the few mid-century modern commercial buildings to gain such status.
