Mersch
Mersch is a commune and town in central Luxembourg, capital of the canton of Mersch. It is situated at the confluence of the rivers Alzette, Mamer and Eisch. As of 2001, the town of Mersch, which lies in the centre of the commune, has a population of 3,345. Other towns within the commune include Beringen, Berschbach, Moesdorf, Pettingen, Reckange, Rollingen, and Schoenfels. Mersch is the home of the National Literature Centre, Luxembourg's national literary archive.
Eisch
The Eisch is a river flowing through Belgium and Luxembourg, joining the Alzette on its left in Mersch. It flows through the towns of Eischen, Hobscheid, Septfontaines, and Marienthal. It has several sources near the villages of Sélange (Belgium) and Clemency (Luxembourg). The Luxembourgish part of the Eisch is informally known as the 'Valley of the Seven Castles', for the seven castles that line its route.
Mamer (river)
The Mamer is a river flowing through Luxembourg, joining the Alzette at Mersch. It flows through the towns of Mamer and Kopstal. The river is a tributary to the Moselle river.

Mersch District
The district of Mersch was one of the four districts of Luxembourg between 1857 and 1867. It took its name from its administrative centre, the town of Mersch, and contained the cantons of Mersch and Redange. To date, it is the only district to have been created after the initial establishment, and also the only district to have been abolished. The district was created on 30 May 1857. The canton of Mersch was taken from Luxembourg District, whilst Redange canton was taken from Diekirch District.
Gousselerbierg Tunnel
The Gousselerbierg Tunnel is a pair of a parallel road tunnels in the canton of Mersch, in central Luxembourg. The tunnels are named for the hill through which they pass, near the town of Gosseldange, in the commune of Lintgen. At 2,695 metres (8,842 ft), the Gousselerbierg Tunnel is the second-longest tunnel in the country, after the Grouft Tunnel, at 2,950 metres (9,678 ft).

Mersch railway station is a railway station serving Mersch, in central Luxembourg. It is operated by Chemins de Fer Luxembourgeois, the state-owned railway company. The station is situated on Line 10, which connects Luxembourg City to the centre and north of the country.
Mersch Castle
Mersch Castle (French: Château de Mersch) in central Luxembourg is one of the castles belonging to the Valley of the Seven Castles. Located in the centre of Mersch, its history goes back to the 13th century. Today the castle houses the administrative offices of the local commune.
