The Choragic Monument of Lysicrates near the Acropolis of Athens was erected by the choregos Lysicrates, a wealthy patron of musical performances in the Theater of Dionysus, to commemorate the award of first prize in 335/334 BCE to one of the performances he had sponsored. Syntagma metro station

The Syntagma station of Attiko Metro is located at Syntagma Square in the centre of Athens, Greece. It serves as a transfer point to the Blue Line (Line 3) with the Red Line (Line 2). First Cemetery of Athens

The First Cemetery of Athens (Greek: Πρώτο Νεκροταφείο Αθηνών) is the official cemetery of the City of Athens and the first to be built. It opened in 1837 and soon became a luxurious cemetery for famous Greek people and foreigners. The cemetery is located behind the Temple of Olympian Zeus and the Panathinaiko Stadium in central Athens. It can be found at the top end of Anapafseos Street (Eternal Rest Street). Herodou Attikou Street

Herodou Attikou Street or Irodou Attikou Street is located east of downtown Athens and is adjacent to the National Garden of Athens. Museum of the Center for the Acropolis Studies

The Museum of the Center for the Acropolis Studies is a museum in Athens, Greece, a part of the new Acropolis Museum and its research workshops. It is housed in the Wilhelm von Weiler Building, named after the Bavarian engineer who designed it in 1834 and constructed it in 1836. After serving as a military hospital and a gendarmes barracks, it was remodelled from 1985 to 1987 and was converted to a museum.

Marika Kotopouli Museum

The Marika Kotopouli Museum is a modern art museum in Zografou, Athens, Greece. The building housing the museum was built by the famous Greek theater actress Marika Kotopouli (1887–1954) as her holiday home in 1926. During the Second World War, the house was requisitioned by the Germans and after the war it housed the local Police Station. The Zographou Municipality with support of the Association of Greek Actors restored the building with its distinctive architecture and beautiful interiors.

Old Royal Palace

The Old Royal Palace is the former royal palace in Athens, Greece. The palace faces onto the Syntagma Square and now houses the Hellenic Parliament. The palace was designed by Friedrich von Gärtner for King Óthon of Greece and was completed in 1843.
