Dinner Plain, Victoria
Dinner Plain is a town in Victoria, Australia, located on the Great Alpine Road, 13 kilometres from Mount Hotham Alpine Resort, and 375 kilometres from Melbourne. At the 2006 census, Dinner Plain had a population of 88, yet has over 200 lodges and chalets for tourist accommodation. Dinner Plain is now a thriving all year round resort with a wide range of summer activities such as bush walking, horse riding, mountain biking and tennis.
Mount Feathertop
Mount Feathertop is the second-highest mountain in the Australian state of Victoria and is a member of the Australian Alps located entirely within the Alpine National Park. It rises to 1,922 metres and is usually covered in snow from June to September. Unlike many other Victorian mountains, Mount Feathertop has steep summit slopes instead of a rounded summit dome. Mount Feathertop's proximity to the Mount Hotham ski resort has led to it becoming a popular backcountry skiing destination.

Mount Loch is a mountain in the Victorian part of the great dividing range, its summit is at 1865 m above sea level and it is the sixth highest point in Victoria, Australia.
Cobungra River
The Cobungra River is a river of Gippsland in eastern Victoria, Australia. The Cobungra River rises below the slopes of the ski resort at Mount Hotham and Mount Loch. At its confluence with the Big River in the Alpine National Park, near Anglers Rest on the Omeo Highway, the two rivers become the Mitta Mitta River, itself a tributary of the Murray River.
Bundara River
The Bundara River (formerly known as the Bundara Mungee River and the Bundarah River) is a river of Gippsland in eastern Victoria, Australia. It rises east of Mount Hotham and Mount Loch in the Australian Alps, and flows into the Big River about 2 km north of Anglers Rest.
