Renmark, South Australia
Renmark is a town in South Australia's rural Riverland area, and is located 254 km northeast of Adelaide, on the banks of the River Murray. The Sturt Highway between Adelaide and Sydney runs through the town; Renmark is the last major town encountered in South Australia when driving this route. It is 31 m above sea level. It is the oldest European settlement on the River Murray. At the 2006 census, Renmark had a population of 4,339.

Berri Barmera Council is a local government area in the Riverland region of South Australia. The towns covered by the council area are Barmera, Berri, Cobdogla, Glossop, Loveday, Monash, Overland Corner and Winkie. The District Council of Berri was declared in 1922, 11 years after the town was proclaimed. Its first major project was to provide reliable electricity to the entire area.

Lyrup is accessible by ferry. It was established in 1894 by the South Australian government as a part of the creation of a communal land system (one of twelve settlements). 243 people originally settled in Lyrup.

1062 ABC Riverland is an ABC Local Radio station based in Renmark, South Australia, broadcasting to the Riverland and Mallee region. The station began broadcasting as 5MV in 1957. It originally broadcast on 1593 kHz. It moved to 1305 kHz in 1988, before changing to 1062 in 1996. In the early years it carried a mix of programming including local news and specific rural information aimed at ‘the fruit blockers and those on the land’.
Big Orange (South Australia)
The Big Orange is one of a number of Big Things to be found in Australia, and is located near the Riverland town of Berri in South Australia. Standing at 15 metres in height, with a diameter of 12 metres, it is the biggest of the "big fruit" in Australia, and incorporates a cafe, souvenir shop, function room, lookout and a 360 degree mural within the structure. Opened in 1980, the landmark has at times struggled to find commercial success, changing hands in 2000, 2006 and again in 2008.

Glossop High School is a public high school in the Riverland of South Australia. The school was formed in 1941. There are two campuses one in Berri and one in Glossop. There are 210 students at the senior campus and 462 at the middle campus. The school was redeveloped in 1974. A new campus of the school was completed in 2008.

Berri Oval
Berri Oval is a cricket ground in the town of Berri, South Australia, Australia. The first recorded match on the ground came when South Australia Country XI played the touring West Indians in 1961. A number of Youth One Day Internationals were held at the ground in the late 1980s. Having never previously held a major cricket match, it was selected as venue for the 1992 Cricket World Cup, staging a One Day International between Sri Lanka and the West Indies.
