Wagga Wagga Base Hospital
Wagga Wagga Base Hospital is located in the City of Wagga Wagga, the largest inland city of New South Wales, Australia. The hospital is the largest in the region, providing medical services to the wider Riverina. It is the regional referral hospital for outlying areas, and provides medical, surgical, orthopaedic, psychiatric and paediatric inpatient services in addition to emergency care. Wagga Wagga also is home to a private hospital, Calvary Hospital, which is also important for the region.

Lake Albert (New South Wales)
Lake Albert is an artificial lake in the suburb of Lake Albert in Wagga Wagga in New South Wales, Australia. Covering 125 ha, the lake was built in the 1890s on what was known as Swampy Plains and was named after Prince Albert. Surrounded by parkland, the lake is a venue for water sports, fishing, walking and bird watching. The lake is home to the Boat Club and one of the town's two golf courses, Wagga Wagga Country Club, is situated on the western shore of the lake.

Its boundaries are Fernleigh Road and Leavenworth Drive to the north and south respectively, whilst Glenfield Road and Willans Hill form the western and eastern extents. Willans Hill Miniature Railway
Willans Hill Model Railway is located in Wagga Wagga Botanic Gardens in the suburb of Turvey Park in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, Australia. The railway was established in 1982. It is operated by the Wagga Wagga Society of Model Engineers. It includes 2 kilometres of track, two stations, several buildings, bridges, tunnels and a number of locomotives owned by the club or individual members. The railway is open to the public on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month. Each ride is A$2.00.
Museum of the Riverina
The Museum of the Riverina is a local history museum in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, Australia. The Riverina is the region in south-western New South Wales in which Wagga Wagga is located. The museum was established by Wagga Wagga and District Historical Society in 1967 (Morris, p. 241) in premises near the Wagga Wagga Botanic Gardens on Lord Baden Powell Drive. In the late 1990s, Wagga Wagga City Council took over the operation of the museum.

Wagga Wagga Botanic Gardens, Australia are located in the Wagga Wagga suburb of Turvey Park on a 20 hectare site on the south western slopes of Willans Hill Reserve. Access to the gardens is via Macleay Street near the corner of Lord Baden Powell Drive. As well as many different types of garden, the Botanic Gardens are home to a music bowl, a small zoo with a walk through aviary, a tree chapel, Willans Hill Model Railway and a camellia garden.

The school was the third government high school established in the City of Wagga Wagga.
Kapooka railway station
Kapooka is a closed railway station on the Main South railway line in New South Wales, Australia. The station opened in 1927 and closed in 1975. Its main role was as a signaling facility for a well used passing loop. Neither the station or the passing loop survive today.

Established in 1912, the school is located on Coleman street, on the upper slopes of Turvey Park, overlooking much of the city. The school was the first state secondary school established in Wagga Wagga, and is currently the oldest still operating. Wagga Wagga High School was originally located on Gurwood Street, closer to the CBD.
