Cranland Airport
Cranland Airport, in Hanson, Massachusetts, is a public use airport owned by Cranland Inc. It has one runway, averages 102 flights per week, and has approximately 22 aircraft based on its field. One historic aircraft, a Grumman Widgeon formerly owned by singer Jimmy Buffett (then registered as N1471N), is housed in the main hangar. It is now owned by Dennis K. Burke, who re-registered it as N3N. Cranland Airport is also the home of Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Chapter 279.

Burrage Pond Wildlife Management Area
Burrage Pond Wildlife Management Area (or BPWMA) is located in the towns of Hanson, Massachusetts and Halifax, Massachusetts. The area is composed of 1,625 acres of open land for public use. Hunting is permitted except on Sundays. BPWMA is made up mainly of swampy lands, old cranberry bogs (formally Bog 18, the biggest in the world), and cedar forest. It is managed by the Massachusetts Department of Fisheries and Wildlife.

Stetson Pond (Pembroke, Massachusetts)
Stetson Pond is a 93-acre warm water pond in Pembroke, Massachusetts. The average depth is 15 feet and the maximum depth is 33 feet . The pond is characterized by brown water with a transparency of five feet. Access to the pond is provided by a dirt launch located off Plymouth Street, near Route 36. The launch is suitable for car top boats and canoes and is owned by the Town of Pembroke.
