WISH-TV

WISH-TV, virtual channel 8, is the CBS-affiliated television station for Central Indiana licensed to Indianapolis. Owned by the LIN TV Corporation, WISH-TV is part of a duopoly with MyNetworkTV affiliate WNDY-TV (channel 23) and the two share studios on North Meridian Street at the north end of Indianapolis' Television Row. It broadcasts a high definition digital signal on VHF channel 9 from a transmitter in the Augusta section of the city.

It broadcasts a high definition digital signal on UHF channel 32 from a transmitter in White River Township north of Strawtown. They also run some secular general entertainment a few hours daily (except on Sundays). The station is owned by LeSEA Broadcasting, also known as World Harvest Broadcasting. WXLW (950 AM, "Freedom 95") is an AM radio station owned by Pilgrim Communications LLC serving the greater Indianapolis, Indiana area. The station operates on the AM radio frequency of 950 kHz. In the fall of 2006, the studios were moved from Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis to a different location along US 31 in Franklin. The WXLW transmitter and antenna are located between Georgetown and Moller Roads on West 56th Street on the northwest side of Indianapolis.

WICR

WICR (88.7), Indianapolis, Indiana, is an 8,000 watt, Class B public radio station at the University of Indianapolis that broadcasts to listeners in the Indianapolis metropolitan area. WICR began broadcasting in 1962 with ten watts of power. Today, the station offers a wide variety of public radio programming that reaches across central Indiana. In 2004, the station began broadcasting in HD Radio. It also streams its programming from the station website.
