Petco Park

Petco Park is an open-air ballpark in downtown San Diego, California, USA. It opened in 2004, replacing Qualcomm Stadium as the home park of Major League Baseball's San Diego Padres. Before then, the Padres shared Qualcomm Stadium with the National Football League's San Diego Chargers. Petco Park is named after the pet supplies retailer Petco, which is based in San Diego and paid for the naming rights. The ballpark is located between 7th and 10th avenues, south of J Street.

Balboa Stadium

Balboa Stadium is a football and soccer stadium located at 1405 Park Boulevard in San Diego, California, just east of San Diego High School. The original stadium was built in 1914 as part of the 1915 Panama-California Exposition, also in Balboa Park, with a capacity of 19,000. It was designed by the Quayle Brothers architectural firm and originally called City Stadium. It was expanded to 34,000 capacity and served as the home stadium for the San Diego Chargers from 1961-66.
